Prime Days

Hello and happy Tuesday!

…and happy Amazon Prime day(s). Today and and tomorrow, Amazon will have some great deals going on.

I debated on writing this post because if you are on Instagram or read a lot of blogs, I know it can be overwhelming to see all the sales that are happening in July. Between Nordstrom, Amazon, and even Walmart and Target…and more…there are lots of sales going on. Of course, just because something is on sale doesn’t mean we have to have it…I even have to remind myself that sometimes.

It’s fun to look back on purchases this year and put together posts like these. I always like seeing what others have purchased too. Also, I am an Amazon Associate, so I can earn from qualifying purchases.

Many shop Prime Days for “big ticket” items, but today, I’m mostly just sharing some Amazon faves of mine (or a few things I have on my Amazon list)

Most of these items seem to be on sale and some even have an extra coupon. I’ll share percentage off on the item, if it has a coupon, and even reviews as I can.

Prices and deals seem to fluctuate, so this is the info I have as I finish up this post.

Top 5!

This blog post is pretty extensive with favorites, but I also decided to share my top five faves…So, you’ll see these in the post in the organized sections, but here are my five faves:

Kitchen:

We got this electric tea kettle for my mom a couple of years ago, and then got one for our house. (It’s currently at its lowest price in 30 days at 10% off.)

We just got these beer mugs for Travis for his birthday. He loves a frosty cold beer so these are perfect for the freezer. I don’t think these are on sale, but they are a great price and have almost 10,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews.

This microwave popcorn popper is family fave! Hadley probably uses it the most 🙂 We’ve given it as a gift too. (Almost 60,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.4 rating and 20% off)

Drink glasses – Like forks, I’m not sure where some of our glasses have gone. I had favorite set that we got as a wedding gift (18 years ago) from Pier 1. Now, we are down to two.

I have my eye on these (they come in a few colors and have 5% off coupon) or these.

Lawn and Garden:

We got my mom this gardening tool set as a gift. (currently 46% off)

For Christmas, we got Travis this Solo Stove Mesa (10% off and lowest price in 30 days)

Apparel:

This Hanes “invisible bra” is one of my all time favorite Amazon purchases. I have at least three of them. They are perfect for comfort at home/sleeping. (less than $7, and 59% off)

I love this black dress that I got last summer; I just wore it last week.(25% off)

My fave swim cover up that I have in two colors has a 15% off coupon.

I shared the long version of this romper that I ordered this summer. I also have the shorts version that has a 5% off coupon. I have been wearing both with a tank all summer.

This set of biker shorts I only purchased a couple of weeks ago, but they rank right up there with the Hanes bra as so comfortable and a great buy. I’ve even been sleeping in them. (19% off)

Shoes, Handbags, and Accessories:

My fuzzy slippers are still a fave, and I love that they are sandal style, especially in the summer. (35% off)

I’ve had this quilted cross body purse for over a year, and I use it so often. (42% off and almost 10,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews)

This black belt bag purse has been my #1 purse of the summer. It comes in tan too. (12% off)

Christmas 2021, my mom got both of the kids this Rockland Melbourne 20 inch hardside expandable spinner suitcase . I’m tempted to buy one for myself today because I’m the only family member without a carry on size suitcase. (That’s because I’m the one who over-packs, but I’m working on it!) (61% off)

Hadley still loves her sunglasses, (44% off and 12,000 reviews, 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 rating)

I can’t travel anywhere without my favorite packing cubes. (Various colors on sale)

I don’t switch out my earrings often, and I almost always wear stud earrings. I’ve had this pair for a couple of years and wear them the most. They are a great price and have a coupon to save $1.

Technology:

We bought Travis these wireless earbuds with hooks for his birthday last year, and he loves them. He wears them when he runs and when he does yard work. (40% off)

The kids had been using the same sound machines since they were babies. I’d also been wanting to have them start waking up more on their own this past year. When I saw this sound machine/clock combo, I gave it to them as one of their Valentine’s Day gifts. This ranks as one of my all-time favorite purchases.

It has many sound options, various colors for a nightlight (but no light is an option too) and is an alarm clock as well. They’ve been using them since February and even this summer to get themselves up for various activities. We love these things. Right now are they are 53% off and have a coupon.

We got Travis this mini massage gun for Father’s Day last year…Hayden uses it too! (-46% off and over 8,000 reviews, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.7 rating)

You know I love my Kindle Paperwhite! I’ve had mine for four years, and we got my Gma one for Christmas a couple of years ago.

The Ring video doorbell brings us peace of mind. That being said, we have to remember to change out/charge the batteries. (It’s 50% off right now and has 163,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.7 reviews )

The Roomba helps keep up with Homer’s dog hair. (28% off and 19,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews)

How cute are these portable blue tooth speakers? They are 45% off. I think these would be perfect for the kids – they are always asking for our bigger blue tooth speakers to take outside. I’m going to snag one for both of them and save them for their birthday. (Almost 40,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 reviews)

Pet Products:

We don’t need this as much now that we have a leather couch, but this pet roller constantly saved the day on our cloth couch. (22% off and 143,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews )

We try to brush Homer as much as possible. This brush has a 10% coupon and 52,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 star reviews.

Beauty/Health:

I’ve shared these toothbrushes time and time again. I have one and so do the kids. I can’t recommend them enough. They are currently 43% off right now. (19,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews)

I’ve added this Gold Bond neck and chest firming cream to my skin care routine, and I love it. (29% off)

I’ve been using this Jergens tanning foam when needed since November, and it’s amazing. It’s so easy to apply with a mitt, drys quickly, and provides the prettiest tan color. (7% off)

Cerave is Hadley’s fave. She uses it every night. (28% off)

I’ve used these Lumineux whitening strips off and on over the past year or so when I’ve had breaks in my Invisalign treatments. They don’t make my teeth sensitive, and do brighten up my smile pretty easily. ($4 coupon)

I still use my dermaplane razor at least once a month in between my facial appointments. (52% off and 21,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating and reviews)

This has been my vitamin C serum for the past six months. (27% off and coupon)

We got Hayden this razor kit for his stocking, and it’s perfect for him at this time in his life. (13% off)

Home:

Last June was when I did my huge closet purge, and over a year later, my closet is still looking good. These acrylic shelf dividers have been an amazing addition to my closet and have definitely helped keep it organized. They are currently 49% off.

I ordered this fuzzy white blanket last fall (and it comes in other colors too) Hadley immediately claimed it as her own, and it’s now on her bed. (33% off and 147,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews)

We have these mattress toppers on all three of our beds, and they have given our mattresses new life. I’m forever grateful for this find. It’s currently 32% off and has 27,000 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ reviews)

Sports/Outdoors:

Trav is still loving the athletic shorts we got him for Father’s Day. They have a $4.80 off coupon.

These Adidas socks are Hayden’s fave. (37% off)

Both Travis and Hayden have this beanie with a built in light to use for running in the cooler/colder temps. There’s currently a $2 off coupon.

I hope these ideas provide some help whether it’s for yourself or a gift idea for the future. I prefer sharing with you things that have worked for me or my family, and I’m sure there are tons of other deals out there too. I know you probably feel bombarded on Instagram (and other blogs) with over-sharing. haha…I’m sure most of us don’t need any of these things, but it’s nice to get a deal.

Prime Purchases

Hello and happy Monday!

I was about to take a long weekend off from blogging —but then I remembered it’s the first Monday of the month, and Tanya is hosting her Prime Purchases link up! I can’t miss that…it’s one of my favorite posts of the month.

I have a few purchases to share today!

Here are my purchases for the month:

Since the kids got new phones recently, they needed new card holders for their phones. Hadley picked the teal color, and I picked out black for Hayden since that’s the color he had for his last phone.

I shared this romper on Friday, and it’s definitely a summer favorite for me. I wore it Friday night out to dinner and to my nephew’s baseball game. It comes in a few colors, and the straps are adjustable.

For Father’s Day, we got Trav these athletic shorts, and he loves them! He’s already worn them quite a few times.

Since he has a *bad* habit of losing his wallet, we also got him this wallet for Father’s Day. So far, he’s been using it…and hasn’t lost it.

Over 111k ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 reviews

Speaking of Father’s Day, I ordered this shoulder wrap for my dad. He has upper back and neck pain, and I remembered how much my Gma loved this gift for Christmas. Amazon delivered it right to his door for Father’s Day.

Almost 10k ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 reviews

I don’t switch out my watch band regularly. Some people swap colors to match what they are wearing or wear nicer bands when dressed up. I just tend to wear one for six months to a year and then purchase another one. This pink band is so cute and under $8! The scallop detail is a nice little touch. I do think I will order another one or two. There are quite a few colors to choose from.

So, that’s it! June was another pretty light month on Amazon for me.

I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July. I always serve my traditional red, white and blue waffles.

That being said, Hayden is running a race tomorrow morning…He probably shouldn’t eat those before his race…I don’t want his belly to hurt!

Then, I’m hoping the weather cooperates, so we can watch fireworks once it gets dark. The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays!

Happy 4th!

Summer Staples

Hello and happy Thursday!

As I’ve gotten a bit into “summer mode,” I’ve taken note of some of my “must haves” for summer. I’m sharing those with you today!

I picked up this pool bag from Walmart this spring, and I have zero regrets. I’ve used my Scout pool bag for at least five years, but picked up the one at Walmart to use when I just need to pack a few things. So far this pool season, it’s the only one I’ve used as the kids tend to bring what they need in their backpacks…or if you are Hayden, you just throw the towel over your shoulder, and that’s all you need.

I’ve had these sunglasses since last year, and they are the ones I tend to use the most.

I got these for Hadley this year, and…

…she approves!

This cover up is absolutely one of my favorite Amazon finds last season. I have it in light blue and navy.

I bought this pair of Turkish towels last year, and they are perfect. I bring them to the pool the most over any towel because they are long enough to cover the whole lounger, and they dry quickly.

Of course sandals are a summer staple. While I have many sandals, I love my rose gold sandals (and Hadley has them in white). I also picked up these “comfort slides” a couple of summers ago. I have them in pink and white and wear them often. They are perfect for the pool, hot baseball games, and yard work. Plus, they are comfy and cute.

(I did size up a full shoe size in both.)

While I will often wear a ball cap, I have a couple of hats that I love. I got the hat below from Nordstrom almost three years ago. It doesn’t appear to be in stock, but I’ve had this similar Amazon one saved for quite some time.

I did order this one last year as another option, and I like that it has a strap if needed. I keep it in my pool bag.

It’s also perfect for a day on the boat.

It’s no secret how much I love my Kindle. It’s always with me poolside.

I went to the pool on Monday and had so many of my summer staples with me.

What are some of your “summer staples?”

Hello and happy Monday!

Mondays sure hit different in the summer…in the best way possible.

It’s the first Monday of the month, so I’m linking up with Tanya to share my Amazon purchases this month.

Here are my purchases this month:

Well, this dress arrived in early May but after May’s Prime Purchase link up. I wore this dress to Oaks, and I love it so much. I ordered a medium and a large to try. The medium fit, but I felt the most comfortable in the large. It comes in quite a few colors, and I know it’s one I will wear more than once.

I already have this workout tank in pink…

…but picked up another on in purple. It’s such a soft material and a good price point around $20. (Some colors/sizes are even less!)

I shared these sandals last month in leopard, and then ordered them in gold.

The one time I don’t unload the dishwasher, and no one can tell me where the small colander that we’ve had for years went…

So, I bought this melamine one as a replacement.

I can’t believe I bought ankle weights, but I sure did. I’ve been loving the Sweat and Sculpt workout program on Bodi, and she uses ankle weights during some of the workouts. So, I picked up these two pound ones, and I can definitely feel the difference during my workouts.

It seems that every summer Hadley “needs” a new pair of sunglasses. She found these, so I ordered them for her…

She opened the package while I wasn’t home, and sent me this pic…

I guess she approves!

May was another pretty light Amazon month, but like I shared in my Share 4 Somethings post, I hit up a few summer sales recently, and I took Hadley with me to Target the other day, and she ended up with a couple pairs of shorts and a new swimsuit. So – other places have been getting my money!

What’s been your best Amazon purchase this month?

Happy Monday and happy May 1st! I can’t believe it’s already May.

How was your weekend? We had a good one with not too much going on after Friday night’s track meet.

Did you catch my bonus Saturday post?

Today, I’m linking up with Tanya for this month’s Prime Purchases.

This was a pretty light Amazon month. I think Travis even noticed that there were less packages on the front porch. 😆

This month I bought…

Jen Reed shared this, I think. I believe some of her followers told her about it, so she shared it. Anyway, I figured I’d add it into my moisturizing routine. I have noticed that crease on my chest (I’m a side sleeper), and if it can firm up my neck a bit, I wouldn’t be mad about it. I’ve been using it for a few weeks. The price point is good, and no matter what, I figure I will take as many moisturizers and vitamins on my skin as I can take.

Yes, I’m over 40. Why do you ask? 😆

Speaking of skin–I had my dermatology skin check on Friday. The past couple of times I’ve gone, she’s said my skin looks good, and I can come back every two years unless something of concern pops up. Just a friendly reminder to get your skin checked by a professional!

I swear…we are always looking for phone chargers in this house. Also, when all four of us are in the car, we all seem to need the one charger that I leave in there. I bought this three pack of the 10 foot “lightning” chargers…10 feet is pretty long, but I leave one in the car for whoever is in the backseat or third row. Also, sometimes I want a longer cable if charging my phone certain places in the house.

The one beauty product I seem to just buy whatever I can find is my daytime serum. I always just look for something with Vitamin C and go from there. I’ve been using this now this month, and I really like it.

Hayden got a new phone, so he needed another screen protector. I’ve always just purchased those from Amazon.

I’ve shared this toothbrush a few times. Both kids and I have it.

Once Hayden got his braces off, I bought him a new one. I’ve had mine for a couple of years, and Hadley has had hers for almost as long. Hayden —well, he tends to be tougher on things…or loses them. So, we’ll see –hopefully this one will last a while. Believe me, it’s user error as to why he’s on his third (or fourth!) one.

I also needed more toothbrush heads, so I added those to the order too.

Amy shared these sandals, and I just couldn’t say no. I wear a size 9, but sometimes I need a 9.5 (or 10!) in sandals. The 9.5 fit me perfectly.

That’s a wrap on my April purchases. I have my eye on a swim cover up that I will probably get this month because it’s almost pool time! I’m sure I will pick up some other odds and ends as the school year wraps up too.

What have you purchased lately?

Prime Purchases

Hello!

How was your weekend? Our break is off to a good start…more on that later!

I’m linking up with Tanya to share my Amazon purchases this month.

I tried to be purposeful with my purchases this month as they are mostly Easter gifts for the kids. I didn’t want to buy any clothes because I’ve been shopping a bit otherwise, and spent most of March wearing some of my favorite winter clothes while I could.

I think I’ve shared most of these items through other posts, but I do like having all of my purchases in one spot.

So, here we go…

Me:

A couple of things for me:

I wanted to try more of a “bangle” style bracelet, and I love rose gold. This one is super cute, and I also ended up getting the cross one in silver as well. The bracelet is less than $12, and I’ve been wearing them both pretty much non-stop!

I wanted a more medium sized crossbody, and picked up this leather one recently. So far, so good! (and it’s currently a “deal” at less than $20!)

Hayden:

For Hayden’s Easter basket, I picked up this massage roller ball for him to use after his runs. I bet Travis will end up using it too! Heck–I might use it!

I thought these skip balls would be fun for the pool and summertime!

Hadley:

For Hadley’s Easter basket, I picked up another pair of the Cushionaire Birk dupes. The last pair I got her was in 2020, and she’s worn them non-stop. Her feet have grown a bit, so it was time for a new pair.

Hadley loves pj’s, and I thought these shorts would be cute and comfy for springtime sleep.

I’m intrigued by the heatless curling sets I’ve been seeing people use. I don’t think they’d work for my hair, but I bet Hadley will like trying this out.

Have you had any great Amazon purchases this month?

I hope your week is off to a great start.

Monthly Musings

Hello and happy Thursday.

I love that Patty and Holly host this fun link up. I feel like it always has me thinking/planning ahead for the next season or holiday.

This month’s topic is: Essential Spring Fashion Pieces

Anytime there is the word “fashion” in the topic, I’m hesitant to post. I don’t know much about fashion… haha…but here are some of my ideas.

1. How do you transition your wardrobe?

I usually transition my (school) wardrobe by wearing dresses and throwing on a cardigan to wear to school. I love a dress…and I love a cardigan, so spring and fall are my favorite times to dress for school.

2. Favorite spring item?

I loved this cardigan so much that I bought it in two colors last year.

3. Favorite spring footwear?

Once the weather warms up and the sun starts shining, I really can’t wait for sandal weather.

Amazon has provided some of my favorite footwear over the past couple of years like these Birk dupes and a couple pairs of slides.

Also, I can’t wait to wear my Birks that I purchased from Nordstrom at the end of last summer. I wore them for as long as possible last fall.

4. Favorite colors you wear in the spring?

I will be the first to admit that I don’t gravitate towards tons of color, but I do love pink in the spring…and the summer (when I’m tan!)

Blue and purple are other favorite colors to wear in the warmer months.

5. Favorite spring accessory?

I don’t change my jewelry much at all. Spring and summer are the perfect time to wear a statement earring, but if I’m not wearing my regular stud earrings, then I’m probably “dressing up” with a gold hoop.

I’m still loving my bracelet stack which is a mix of Daily Gold Co and Amazon.

6. Ways to add spring to your outfit when the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Throw on a bright pink cardigan and go!

7. Do you change up your makeup routine in the spring?

Kind of link with jewelry, I don’t change much. Basically, I just change my foundation as I get more color in my face. I still love Seint makeup, and I’ve been wearing the “Amber” shade highlight in the winter, and soon it will be time to switch to “Mango.”

During/after spring break, I will start using my Jergens “Instant Sun,” and I’ve already started adding in the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze drops into my face moisturizer at night and am starting to see a bit more color.

Really, I can’t wait for summer as I rarely wear makeup…and I like to be tan!

8. Puff sleeve trend. Yes or no?

I’m not against a puff sleeve, and I’ve seen a few cute options. That being said, apparently I love a “flutter” sleeve right now.

9. Do you change up your mani/pedi colors in the spring?

I’m pretty traditional with my mani color. I pretty consistently wear some version of pink all year long. That being said, in the fall and winter, I will try darker colored nail polish.

Once spring hits, I lock in with Funny Bunny or Bubble Bath for my SNS. In the summer, I usually try dark pink or a turquoise for my pedi color. I hope to cash in a gift card over break and get a pedi.

10. Favorite spring tote?

I carry a smaller purse in the spring/summer. My gold cross body is a fave, and I like that I can switch out the strap to change it up.

While I still love this one that I got last year for when I’m more dressed up:

I did just purchase this saddle/boho purse, and I’m excited to try it.

I wanted to have another crossbody option that is a little bigger and more everyday. I actually ordered a few to try, and this one was my fave by far (and less than $20!)

So, now I feel like I have a small, medium, and larger version of a crossbody for the spring/summer months.

Ahh…I didn’t think I’d have much to add to this topic, but I was able to share a bit about some of my favorite spring fashion items.

On my “to do” list over break is to pull items from my closet that I didn’t wear this winter in order to tidy things up a bit before summer.

See you back here tomorrow for Friday Faves.

Let’s Look

Hello!

Well, this month feels like it’s flying by! I always love when Shay and Erika host this monthly link up because it’s fun to see what others have to share!

So far this year, we’ve looked at:

  • Scheduling/organizing a busy family in January
  • What’s in your medicine cabinet in February

This month, the topic is all time favorite Amazon finds.

Well, is there a more perfect post for me to write about?

This is a SUPER-sized Amazon post filled with some faves and even seasonal favorites as well.

All-time faves:

I purchased flameless candles back in January, and they have been perfect for decor, but they also came in very handy at night when we didn’t have power last week. I’m really glad I picked up the seven pack. At first, I wasn’t using them all, but then I put a couple downstairs on the built in, and they are perfect there.

I don’t see my exact ones anymore, but this pack has over 10,000 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 star reviews.

I’ve been drinking my morning coffee out of this mug for years. I don’t use it as a travel mug…just my at home mug.

These slippers have become an all time favorite because they are fuzzy but don’t make my feet hot!

When I bought this electric tea kettle, I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it. Hadley uses it the most for warming up water for her mac and cheese or ramen! We also use it for water for hot chocolate. I got my mom one last year since she drinks tea. Anyway, it’s definitely a purchase that we love.

This tissue box cover is something I love so much I gave it as a stocking stuffer/gift last year. The tissue box on our kitchen counter was an “eye sore” for me, but this one is perfect to blend in the tissue box on the counter.

These packing cubes are a must for me, and I always use them when we travel.

My Kindle is probably my all time Amazon fave. I read so much more because of it. I still often have a book I’m reading, but I always have books on my Kindle too. I love it.

Winter Faves:

These Ugg dupes have been perfect to wear this winter.

I wear this sweater often and it comes in a variety of colors.

I purchased this sweater two years ago in a variety of colors, and I still wear them all often.

Spring Faves:

I have this cardigan in two colors, and wear them both all the time. They are perfect for the springtime over a dress.

I picked up this purse last spring, and I love that the strap is interchangeable, and it holds just what I need to go to church, Keeneland, or on vacation.

I picked up this midi dress a couple of years ago, and it’s one I pull from my closet often in the spring.

These joggers are great because they are light weight and a bit more on the capri side.

Summer Faves:

This swim cover up is the best. I have it in light blue and navy. It looks like they have a short sleeved version now too.

I purchased this swimsuit two years ago and have two of them. Cute, stylish, and comfy.

I love these rose gold Birk dupes. I did size up to a 10 instead of my regular 9. Hadley has them in white…she actually got them first 😆

Fall Faves:

Once the weather gets colder, I usually switch out my purse from something smaller to one that holds all the things. If I’m not carrying my Barrington bag tote, then I’m using this hobo style one:

This fuzzy cardigan is one of my favorite things to wear in the fall and winter:

These Amazon joggers can be worn year round, of course, but I love them when I don’t want to wear leggings.

Shew! I know the topic was “all-time” faves, but I’ve been a fan of Amazon for years, so I guess that means I have lots of faves. All the seasonal items I shared, I think I’ve had for at least a year…and most I’ve had for longer.

Next month’s topic is: our biggest pet peeves. Uh oh…this could be opening up a can of worms. haha!

Prime Purchases

Hello from wind blown Kentucky. As I mentioned in Friday’s post, we didn’t have school Friday due to potential dangerous storms. While we didn’t lose any trees or have an destruction to our home, we’ve been without power since 5pm Friday. We have friends whose trees fell onto their homes and there are downed power lines everywhere.

My seven pack of flameless candles sure have done their job!

Hadley’s dance competition in Louisville got postponed and postponed again before getting canceled. Hayden’s track meet was still held in Louisville yesterday, so we decided to keep our Louisville hotel for Saturday night. I got a pretty good night’s sleep, we charged all the things, I washed and blow dried my hair, and we had a warm breakfast.

As I type this from the hotel, we are still without power in Lexington. Apparently, this is the 3rd largest power outage in Lexington in the past 20 years. The latest estimate on the outage map is for power to be restored Wednesday at 11pm. I’m hoping they are giving us the “worst case” scenario. This is definitely the longest I’ve ever been without…that’s for sure.

I’m linking up with Tanya for Prime Purchases.

The end of January and this month had a few purchases for dance, some clothes, a few Valentine’s Day gifts, and some other odds and ends.

For dance competitions, Hadley needed to replenish a few things:

  • They all wear the same shade of red lipstick.
  • Hadley finds the magnetic eyelashes to be the easiest to put on because she doesn’t have to worry about using the glue.
  • You can never have too many hair pins.
  • Hair gel works better than hairspray.

I picked up a few “staple” items of clothing as well as a new sweater and Hadley’s dress for the dance.

  • This blue sweater is a version of the pink turtleneck one that I love.
  • This black basic long sleeve shirt is perfect to wear under my new SSYS tunic and other lightweight jackets.
  • I love these joggers, and I had them in two colors. When I purged my closet last summer, I donated a pair of gray ones, and only had the navy color left. Anyway, I wanted to repurchase a pair because I’d forgotten how much I wear them in the spring.
  • Hadley really wanted a pink dress for the dance, and she found this one. She got an XS, and we still had to get it altered, but she loved it, so it was worth it.
Joggers in navy

A few other purchases:

  • I’ve ordered these electric toothbrushes a few times. The kids and I all use them, and Hayden needed a new one.
  • I purchased these alarm clocks for the kids for Valentine’s Day. Besides being an alarm clock, they also have a night light (different color options) and sound machine built in too. Hadley uses the ocean sound like she did on her previous sound machine. Hayden uses the birds chirping as his alarm sound…let’s just say he needs something a little louder to wake him up!
  • I’m helping quite a few students who are reading Romeo and Juliet, and many teachers use the “No Fear” version with the play on one side and the translation on the other side. I picked up a couple to keep in my room, so students don’t have to bring them back and forth.
  • I need to do a better job cleaning my rings, and this “Diamond Dazzle” has been a quick and easy way to touch up my rings.
  • I re-ordered my collagen for the third time. I add a scoop to my coffee every morning. I’m trying to keep up with this routine.

What have you purchased from Amazon lately?

We’ll see how posting goes this week…hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

Hello and happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Ours was super busy. Honestly, I was in bed by 9:00 on Friday because I was so tired and kind of grumpy. Then, Saturday was non-stop which I expect…but then Sunday was too which isn’t what I was expecting.

Anyway, I’m starting the week off by linking up with Tanya for this month’s Prime Purchases.

In January, I try to limit my Amazon spending because I feel like in November and December, all I do is buy gifts. That being said, this post is pretty full which makes me feel like I need to explain myself 😂

Here are my purchases this month:

At the end of December (so technically not January), I bought:

This pack of no show socks to wear with my new Shu Shop shoes. I’ve been losing socks left and right lately, so I needed a few more no show socks.

Also, I ordered another tub of collagen. I’ve been adding a a scoop to my morning coffee for the past few months.

Once I got organized after Christmas, I wanted a place for my boots, and ordered this boot bag organizer that fits under the bed. I have two pairs of tall boots in it and then a couple of short boots too. One of the spots is still empty which is nice knowing I can still add to it.

With an Amazon gift card that I got for Christmas, I ordered…

Kelly Ripa’s book

…and these slippers that I had my eye on. I 10/10 recommend these. I love them because they are easy to wear around the house (and outside if needed), and my feet don’t get hot. The come in lots of colors too.

When I got my house organized and put back together after Christmas, I purchased two more of these mini boxwood wreaths. I have one on the candle pedestal on my coffee table, and wanted two more to add to two more candle pedestals.

With a gift card I received for my birthday, I bought…

This seven pack of flameless candles with remote! My friend had a couple on her mantel, but then I found the seven pack. I’m only using a few right now, but they provide a lovely glow in the living room when I’m missing my Christmas tree. The timer can be set for two, four, six or eight hours. Also, using the remote, you can make the candles flicker (or not!) I have a feeling this will be one of my favorite 2023 Amazon purchases.

Here is one of the candles with one of the mini wreaths:

I also picked up a pair of new black cotton leggings. I’ve had a pair from H&M for years, and wear them so much they are almost see through…so this pair has worked as a replacement.

One more thing I picked up with my gift card is this workout tank. I love it so much, and will probably order it in another color at some point. (I ordered a large, and maybe could have done a medium…but I don’t like my tanks to be tight)

Travis made a rare Amazon purchase, and picked up some Adidas & Nike socks for the kids. He ordered a pack of black and of white. Both kids have lots of socks with holes in them that they refuse to throw away! haha

One more purchase…

from my Gma…She ordered me these Ugg dupes (that I gave as a gift idea) for my birthday, and I’ve been wearing them so much. There are various colors, but I think the leopard print is fun!

So, I still had quite a few purchases this month, but really I used gift cards for most of them!

What have you been priming lately?

I’m not sure how much I will post this week. I will be at school late every day this week and the kids are super busy. *sigh* It’s only Monday, and I already want it to be Friday.
