Monday Memes

Hello and Happy Monday! Well, this weekend felt like a blur. I spent most of it in Cincinnati with Hadley at her first dance competition of the season.

I sure wish I had an extra day to get things done and rest a bit.

Anyway…

Did you catch my Share 4 Somethings post on Saturday?

Since it’s the last Monday of the month, I’m sharing some of my favorite memes.

I feel so “seen.” I do this all the time:

This is so true! I swear if we had land, I’d adopt twenty dogs!

I’m definitely an over-thinker.

9/10 I put on smarty pants…lol

This might be why this “season of life” has felt so challenging…Both at home and at school I fee like I’m forever on repeat…

I can definitely be a nosy Rosie ๐Ÿ˜‚

I made sure to pick up this week’s groceries early Saturday before we left for Cincinnati. I was going to make dinner on Sunday night, but I was too tired…so we ordered Thai food. We hadn’t had that in forever, and I thought it sounded good.

I felt “guilty” for a minute because we never eat out on a Sunday, but then I let that go and cut myself some slack!

So this meme is timely:

With my current job, I don’t have to take attendance, but this one made me chuckle. I’ve definitely been there…

Just a few memes to start your week. What was the highlight of your weekend?

Hello and Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Like I mentioned earlier, we had a bonus day off on Friday, so our three day weekend was just right!

โ€ฆand last night we cheered on our Chiefs and weโ€™re excited about the victory!

Did you catch my weekend posts?

I joined the Share 4 Somthings link up on Saturday, and then I shared a Bloganuary post yesterday.

Since it’s the last Monday of the month, I’m sharing some memes that made me LOL recently.

Starting withโ€ฆ

January has felt like a really long month!

This meme is perfect given our Friday “snow day.” I do remember as a kid and even the first half of my teaching career looking for our school district name scrolling on the bottom of the tv screen.

This one is definitely relateable:

Bahaha…this is definitely Travis and me. He worries about very little, and I like to worry about all the things.

I sent this one on a friends group text and we all laughed.

Fun fact: I hate mayo. If a food has mayo on/in it, I won’t even try it. There’s probably a few dips I eat that have mayo in them that I don’t know about…if so, don’t tell me. That being said, I don’t know if my kids have ever even had mayo because since I don’t like it, I don’t buy it.

See, this three day weekend was perfect. We had equal parts lazy, productive, fun and prep for the week ahead.

This year, I feel like I’m back in a lunch groove. I really hate thinking about lunch. So far this year, I’ve pretty much just committed to splitting a bagged salad over two days (and bringing fruit and some chips) and then meal planning/prepping one other lunch to eat for three days. It’s worked for me because I’m eating something new every week, but only making it once. If we have dinner leftovers I can take even just one day, that’s a bonus!

Bahaha! Like what? How was 30 years ago 1992? Crazy enough, that means I was in middle school then which is the age my kids are now!

I hope at least one of these started your week off with a laugh or two.

Blogging note: Some months I might move to “Monthly Memes” now that I have Prime Purchases and Not Just a Mom on two Mondays a month. That only leaves one Monday for Hello Monday if I do memes on Mondays too. We’ll see.

Anyway, I hope you have a great start to your week.

Monday Memes

Hello and Happy Monday! I can’t believe it’s the Monday before Christmas. We’re definitely in full on break mode which makes for the best kind of Monday.

The month wouldn’t be complete without a few laughs thanks to some memes.

To keep it festive and fun, all of these memes are holiday related.

My aunt sent this in a group text, and I literally LOL’d.

Haha…truth!

Actually, this meme has probably been true for at least the past couple of weeks…

Classic Christmas with Nutcrackers.

Well, this is actually close to true…but I know how it goes with chocolate Advent calendars.

Me…yesterday. (I’m very behind on my Christmas movie viewing…so my goal is to watch at least one Christmas movie a day this week. Yesterday, I watched The Noel Diary on Netflix.)

Of course, the kids sleep in a bit later now that they are older, but even when they were little, I’d set an alarm to get up early and have that quiet time before they woke up.

I sent this one to a few of my friends. I try to be the gift that keeps on giving ๐Ÿ˜‰

Food for thought. haha

I think I see this one every year, and it’s funny.

So, these are a few of my faves! I hope you have a great week full of holiday fun.

Happy (Cyber) Monday! How was your Thanksgiving? I hope it was a great one. I didn’t realize how much I needed five days at home until I had them! Somehow, I’m still struggling on this Monday morning, but at least I’ve had a bit of downtime to get me energized for these next few weeks of school.

Since it’s the last Monday of the month, I’m sharing some of my favorite memes with you!

Tis the season…

In honor of Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I’m sharing these first few because I thought they were funny:

Relateable…haha

I don’t do Black Friday. I’m all about online Black Friday or Cyber Monday…for many reasons…including these:

…and this:

I know this hits home for most:

I’ve purchased a few things, but today is the day I make a big list and try to knock out most of my shopping.

This one made me laugh. I’ve always thought it would be fun to receive a new car as a surprise, but I think most people do talk over major purchases with their significant other.

Other LOL

My friends and I have shared this one on a group text, and it’s so true! People need to appreciate how grumpy/mean I could be.

1, 2, 3…goals!

Homer thinks he has a right to all food in this house.

This is kind of me. It’s especially me in the morning before school! I can usually get ready pretty quickly, but I’m always rushing in the mornings!

I feel seen!

I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and that your week starts off on the right foot!

Monday Memes

Hello! I can’t believe it’s already the start of a new week. Our weekend flew by, and it was busy. Yesterday was so busy that I sent my family a note from my phone with a schedule for the day…which no one followed. I love that for me.

Anyway…with October wrapping up, I’m sharing some of my favorite memes from the month.

A few Halloween / fall memes:

1.

Yikes! Unfortunately, sometimes this one is relatable…

2.

I know people either love or hate candy corn. I like a few pieces when it’s mixed with peanuts. I haven’t really bought any this season.

3.

I was just recently asked my favorite Halloween candy, and I said Reese’s pumpkins. I know they taste the same, but I always buy myself a few pumpkin and Easter egg ones when I see them at the checkout at the grocery store.

4.

I’m always amazed how crowded the pumpkin patches are every year. I will say when we went last week, it didn’t feel as crowded as usual.

A few other memes…

5.

Why is this one so true?! I literally never know what to do.

6.

I’m actually not too bad at recognizing people, but I struggle with names sometimes…especially after just meeting someone. Why am I this way? haha

7.

I literally live for coffee. I’m not sure anyone would want to be near me without caffeine.

8.

This one made me LOL because it is one of the reasons we don’t belong to Costco or Sams. I spend enough money at Kroger and Trader Joe’s!

Which meme was your fave?

We have another busy week on tap, but I’m just going to take it day by day.

I hope you have a great week!

Monday Memes

Hello! How as your weekend? We had a great one. We took it easy on Friday night because Hadley was still sick, and then Saturday was great because we didn’t have much going on. Hayden had cross country practice, I picked up groceries, and ran some errands. Travis and the kids went to the UK game on Saturday night. Sunday, we went to my nephew’s flag football game and then had the first batch of chili of the season for dinner.

That was just a quick recap of the weekend, but today’s post is all about a few laughs. Believe it or not, this is the last Monday of September (how is that possible?!), so I’m sharing some memes that made me laugh this month.

1.

This meme is very timely. I will say though, for once the weekend didn’t feel super quick. That’s probably because we didn’t have much we “had” to do on Saturday.

2.

haha!

3.

Too relatable ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

4.

A candle (at least!) in every room…

5.

I’ve never really thought about it, but this is so true!

6.

This one really made me chuckle!

7.

Right?! We have Fall Break soon, and after that, it will be Halloween, the kids’ (13th!!) birthday, Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

8.

I’ve always done that. It’s always so satisfying crossing things off the list.

I hope these have started your week off right! See you back here tomorrow.

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours seemed extra busy. Friday after school started with the kids going in separate directions. Eventually, Hadley had an overnight a friend’s house, and Hayden went to a football game. Saturday was spent out in the heat at Hayden’s cross country meet. Then, Sunday was full of all the things: church, volleyball, science projects, errands, and more!

We’re ready for another full week of school, but first I’m sharing some of the memes that made me laugh this month…

1.

The “Sunday scaries” are the worst in August…It’s so hard getting back in a routine.

2.

Sit down, stay humble! ๐Ÿ˜‰

3.

Y’all know I love the GG. This meme with Dorothy is the best!

4.

Relatable.

5.

So true!

6.

I rarely turn to Netflix for movies. Obviously, there are shows and documentaries, but I always feel like I search for a movie, I never find one that I want to watch. Remember the OG Netlfix when they sent you three movies to watch at a time? The good old days.

7.

Life…especially on a Monday!

8.

My kids demolish a box (and the bag) of cereal on the regular. Drives me crazy!

Can you relate to any of these memes? I hope they started your week off with a laugh or two!

Tomorrow, I hope to share the books I read this month if I can get the post finished. It was a great month of reading.

Have a great day,

Monday Memes

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a great one. I will share more about it later in the week.

For now…I can’t even believe it, but it’s the last Monday of the month! That means I’m sharing some of my favorite memes that made me laugh this month.

Let’s get started:

1.

Tough times, y’all!

2.

Whyyyy does it feel like we are living on the surface of the sun? Say a prayer that our a/c hangs on!

3.

Trying to do as a little as possible these last few weeks of summer.

4.

Always the car keys …

5.

Sounds like a good excuse for now…

6.

“Bussin'” is definitely a popular word in our house right now.

7.

I feel like my family is always in front of the silverware drawer or the trash can cabinet when I am cooking or trying to get dinner on the table.

8.

Not really, but this does make me LOL!

9.

Current diet plan:

(Not sure if it shows great restraint or laziness, but after I’ve brushed my teeth and completed my skin care routine, it’s a signal for me to stop eating…and go to bed)

10.

Facts ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

โ€ฆand one more because I guess I need to laugh rather than cry about school starting back soon:

Tomorrow, I’m sharing the books I read this month. I was a busy reader, that’s for sure!

Hello? How was your weekend? We had the best summer weekend. Travis and I went to dinner for our anniversary on Friday.

Saturday, we spent the day at the lake, and then yesterday I wrapped up the weekend at the New Kids on the Block concert with some of my friends! I will share more about all of those activities soon.

Since it’s the last Monday of the month (*sigh*), I’m sharing the best memes I saw this month!

1.

This one literally made me LOL.

2.

Y’all, this weekend about took me out! So much fun, but I can’t persevere like I used to!

3.

The English teacher in me laughed at this one.

4.

Nothing better than having less dishes to clean while cooking and baking.

5.

This one goes with #4!

6.

Relatable….especially before my first cup of coffee…

7.

This summer, I’ve become less and less presentable as I drop off and pick up my kids from their morning activities.

8.

Why am I such a worry wart?

9.

Thankfully, our temps have cooled a bit, but we are to the point where we could use some rain.

10.

So much extra trash in the summer…

I hope these provided a laugh or two.

Have a great Monday!

Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

Our was..you guessed it…busy! The kids both had friends spend the night on Friday. Then, we spent most of Saturday in Louisville for a track meet that continued to be delayed due lightning, so they never ran. Hadley had big plans on Saturday night while the rest of us just hung out at home. Sunday, the kids were busy at church and then we went back to Louisville for them both to run the 800 m race.

It was a great weekend, but I’m ready to get these last few days of school over with, so we can enjoy summer.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite memes from the month!

1.

Current mood:

my friend sent me this one and I definitely LOL’d.

2.

โ€ฆandโ€ฆ

The answer is three. Three days left of school.

3.

Once May hits, I’m soooo over packing lunches. Hayden buys school lunch, and Hadley basically packs the same lunch every single day. I’m mostly tired of making lunch for myself.

4.

LOL

5.

Tis the season to hydrate…poolside!

6.

I also now pick up my kids from places while already in my pjs…I send texts like, “be ready and don’t make me come inside!”

7.

I heart carbs. (We went out to lunch after the track meet yesterday. Hayden ordered chicken fingers, and when they waitress asked what two sides he’d like, he said, “mashed potatoes and fries!” That’s my boy!)

8.

Current POV:

9.

This is me for sure. I rarely just sit and watch a show. I’m always trying to multi-task only to have to rewind…and maybe rewind again!

I hope these started your week off with a laugh or two!

Take care,
