Monday Memes

Hello! Well, since it’s the end of the month, I’m sharing some of the memes that have made me laugh over the past few weeks! I hope they start your week off right!

1.

It does feel like the holiday wheels are in motion once all things pumpkin begin!

2.

#awkward I often feel like I should have said more or said too much when meeting someone new…

3.

#teamILoveNaps

4.

6th grade pre-Algebra, y’all! 😩

5.

Besides my own passwords, now the kids have some that I need to know. Also, I feel like my school computer always forces me to change my password at the most inconvenient time!

6.

I used to be so good at parallel parking in college. Nothing makes you fit your car in the tightest space possible like being five minutes late to class. I can still parallel park, but don’t feel as accomplished with this task as I used to!

7.

Am I right?!

I’ve also heard people mention having “trust issues” thanks to trainers telling them it’s the last round or “one more minute” only to add in a bonus exercise. 🀣

8.

I live for coffee. I could give up any beverage but not coffee. I love nothing more than starting my day with a couple cups. It’s the little things in life!

I hope you have a great week. I can’t believe it’s almost October. That’s my favorite month of the year!

Monday Memes

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a pretty relaxing one! With not much going on, the kids definitely made up for lost pool time. They were there Friday evening with Travis, Saturday evening as a family, and then Sunday afternoon for a Back to School get together our pool hosted.

On Saturday, I did next to nothing. I had an appointment in the morning, stopped by Hayden’s cross country car wash fundraiser, came home and read my book, watched some television, and took a nap! Then, we went to the pool for a bit in the evening. It was glorious not having anything that I really felt like I had to do.

On Sunday, we went to church, went to the pool for a bit, I placed my Kroger grocery order, and then our neighborhood had their annual block party. It was a busy but great Sunday.

We’re ready to start our first five day week of the year, but first I’m starting the week off with a few laughs.

Here are some of my favorite memes of the month:

1.

Right?! I felt we blinked and it was August. Now, August is almost over!

2.

Poor August. I’m giving it a hard time, but this meme rings true for me as well. Once August 1st hit, I really had to start letting go of summer.

3.

Arg! I’ve been having to reset lots of passwords lately, and I can’t keep up.

4.

I feel seen:

5.

I can’t pass up a good bargain!

6.

Texting with Hadley be like…

7.

I felt like I dragged myself through last week. Maybe that early alarm will feel a bit easier on week three of the school year…

8.

My phone is always on silent because otherwise I’d be overstimulated with all the dinging! I’m lucky to answer a text in a timely manner let alone answer a phone call!

Can you relate to any of these memes? I hope they’ve started your week off with a laugh! I should be posting pretty frequently this week. At least, that’s the plan! I hope you have a great week.

I’m linking up with Heather (and others!) for Hello Monday as well.

Monday Memes

Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Hayden had a basketball game followed by a baseball tournament this weekend. Hadley was happy to dodge most of baseball to celebrate a friend’s birthday! Overall, we had a great weekend.

As the month of June wraps ups (How is that possible?), I’m sharing some favorite memes that I’ve seen over the past month or so!

1.

Well, this first one is appropriate given my monthly meme posts πŸ™‚

2.

Honestly, the month of June was pretty bearable, but July – September seem to be our hottest months around here!

3.

As someone who is at the pool quite a bit, I can verify that this next meme is true:

4.

Why does Target take all my money? Seriously, if I spend less than $50 on a Target trip, it’s a miracle!

5.

This is true for my introvert self:

6.

Classic Travis vs. Me….He doesn’t know how to rest…and that’s all I try to do on vacation!

7.

I feel seen:

8.

I try to be a little more “go with the flow” in the summer, but with two kids who are older now and want to do different things, some days I feel like I’ve lost all control. haha

9.

LOL

10.

Thankfully, Homer doesn’t seem to be a very anxious dog, but this meme is still relatable!

11.

I sure feel like I have to scroll pretty far to find 1980!

12.

My mom sent me this one and many nights this is tempting:

Which meme is your fave?

It will probably be a light posting week for me, but I hope to share the books I read in June (5!) as well as some Friday Favorites.

Have a great week!

May Monday Memes

Hello and Happy Monday…{May Monday Memes}…Try saying that five times fast! πŸ˜‰

How was your weekend? We had a pretty good one…low key in comparison to our usual weekend activities.

With the month of May quickly wrapping up, I couldn’t let the month pass by without sharing some of my favorite memes.

Without further adieu…

1.

Fun fact: I hate packing. I’m definitely over-packer. I feel like I need all the options for any possible scenario. I wish I wasn’t this way, but I always have been, and I’m assuming I always will be…

2.

Me this summer:

3.

This one definitely made me LOL: πŸ˜‚

4.

Still working on shedding the Covid 15-19! πŸ˜†

That being said, I often order two sizes from places I know have easy to return options like Amazon and Nordstrom.

5.

Y’all, my gmail email inbox currently has 252 emails in it…and it’s killing me. Most of the emails I can’t even find to delete, and I’m officially getting emails from gmail/Google telling me my storage is 90% full. Unfortunately, one of the items on my summer “to do” list is to figure out my email sitch!

6.

I seriously cringe when I’m cc’d on a work email…like what is someone volun-telling me to do?!

7.

Do you know one of my favorite things about summer? My afternoon nap. I am definitely a napper! I can do so and still go to bed at 9:30 no problem.

8.

I don’t really have any projects to do, but instead, like I mentioned earlier, things I’ve put off like apparently letting my emails get out of hand, as well as my closet that I never tackled and more! It’s time to get a game plan and follow through with it.

So those are just a few memes that made me laugh this month! I hope they start your day off right.

This week, I have a few posts planned, but I may spend a little more time getting into summer mode this week…which means a mix of relaxing and β€œto do” lists ….*see meme #8 😬

Thanks so much for reading,

April Monday Memes

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a good one! Friday was a pretty relaxed evening, and I went to be early! On Saturday, Hayden had an early game…in the rain! Then, I ran to Trader Joe’s, did laundry, prepped for Hadley’s dance competition, and did other household chores. On Sunday, Hadley had a very early call time for the competition! We enjoyed the performances, followed by lunch, and then headed back home to Lexington to pick up groceries, take Hadley to a birthday party, take Hayden to meet with his mentor, do laundry and prep for the week!

While Friday evening was lowkey, I swear the rest of the weekend was a blur!

WordPress told me that today is my 350th post, and I’m “celebrating” that with a funny Monday Memes post.

1.

This one made me LOL. I will say that I tend to fall back on sarcasm when I’m feeling a little stressed and overwhelmed.

2.

I feel seen.

3.

I’m not ever super late, but this meme actually reminded me more of Travis. Not that he’s typically late, but I tend to add 15 minutes to “I’m almost home,” when that’s his response to my “When will you be home?”

4.

I can’t quit pjs and comfy clothes!

5.

I always joke about having FOMO…I at least want to be invited places even if I have to turn down the invitation.

6.

I try really hard not to make eye contact with any in store surveillance camera.

7.

You think I’d be in waaayyy better shape! (Although with the warmer weather, I’ve made the transition to White Claws!) πŸ˜‰

8.

I’ve seen this meme many times, and it makes me laugh.

9.

Can’t quit the β€˜gram πŸ˜‚

10.

This one is so funny! Nothing makes me panic more than rising gas prices!!

Every Monday needs to start with a little bit of humor! Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you have a great week.

March Monday Memes

Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend? We had a successful Saturday at Hadley’s dance competition, and by “successful,” I mean that her group did an amazing job with their two dances, and I’m gaining street cred as a “dance mom!”

I will share more later, but these girls did amazing on their jazz and tap routines. They are beauties on the inside and the outside.

Then, this was me yesterday…πŸ˜†

The weather was beautiful this weekend, so we were able to have lunch outside at a restaurant after Hadley’s competition, and then watch some of Hayden’s baseball scrimmage on Sunday.

We have a full week of school, and then it’s our district’s Spring Break! Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite memes from the month. I hope they’ll start your week off with a laugh or two!

1.

I shared this one in InstaStories in early March. I think the month of March will have us thinking back to March of 2020 for many years to come.

2.

This is definitely me!

3.

All last week, I was thinking around 9:30-10:00 PM, “Why aren’t these kids tired?!” I’m tired no matter what at 9:00 whether it’s Daylight Savings Time or not. My kids really weren’t tired at their normal bed time, and it was probably Thursday before I realized maybe their bodies and minds were still on pre-DST time.

4.

Classic marriage meme right here πŸ˜‚

5.

One more week until Spring Break…

I’m just going to keep swimming…

6.

This meme was a late addition to this post…I saw it on Friday, and literally laughed out loud.

7.

I’ve feel this deeply…

8.

I’m over here still adjusting to back to school life + the time change + kids’ activities and more!

Funny stuff, right? Which meme can you relate to the most?

This week, I plan on sharing my Easter decorations, a brief review of my new Happy Planner, and another post or two!

I hope you have a great week. It’s definitely feeling like spring around here!

February Monday Memes

Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

We had a pretty good one which started off with Travis and I going out to dinner. Our original “Valentine’s Day” dinner had to be rescheduled due to the weather, and while our roads were still snow covered, the main roads were good enough for us to get out and enjoy dinner. Then, Saturday and Sunday were filled with basketball games, errands, church activities, and other things on my “to do” list.

I can’t let the month of February pass by without sharing some of my favorite memes. So, here you go…

1.

Haha! I swear every year that I ask the kids a 100 times how many kids are in their classes. We always end up with an extra box of Valentines because of course they have 25 kids in each of their classes!

2.

I feel this deeply, y’all!

3.

Funny!

4.

This is definitely me!

5.

Travis, are you listening?!

6.

I’m working on this, ok? πŸ˜‰

7.

I’ve never felt more seen…

8.

This is definitely me! I tried to watch a movie with Hadley on Saturday night, and didnt’t make it past 30 minutes of the movie.

9.

This one definitely made me chuckle!

10.

My weakness πŸ˜‚

So there are a few laughs to start off your week! I’m hoping for a pretty normal week around here, and the weather finally seems to have its act together! I think we are in the 40’s and 50’s all week, so hopefully our snow and ice will continue to melt.

I’m in the great debate (with myself) on when to get my car washed. I want to do so today, but I guess I should wait a couple days until all the snow is melted and the streets dry up!

And…I don’t want to jinx anything, but there’s a very good chance that Hayden and Hadley will be back in the school building (for the first time in 350+ days) next week! So, we’ll cherish this (hopefully) final week of virtual school, and then prep for a RETURN TO IN PERSON LEARNING! (excuse the CAPS…I’m not shouting…just really, really, really hopeful to get my kids back in the building!)

I hope you have a great week!

January Monday Memes

Hello and happy Monday! How was your weekend? Per usual, we had a busy Saturday and a more low key Sunday.

Saturday was filled with errands and two basketball games for Hayden. By Saturday evening, I felt like I’d hit a wall and was tired, achy, and even had a sore throat. I’m guessing the vaccine was starting to kick in? I was asleep by 9:30 on Saturday and felt a bit better Sunday morning. After church, I changed back into pajamas, ate soup for lunch, took an over two hour nap!

Then, it was time to cheer for the our Chiefs! …

who are headed to the Super Bowl!

Obviously, the weekend ended on a high note!

So, since it’s almost the end of January…(how is that even possible?!), I’m sharing some of my favorite memes from this month.

When I do my monthly meme post, I add to the post as the month goes on when I find funny memes. I thought I had this post pretty much wrapped up until…

Bernie and his mittens happened! So I had to share a few of my faves Bernie memes too!

Bernie:

1.

I feel this deeply, y’all! Hadley is in the midst of cookie sales. She’s actually already surpassed her goal of 390 boxes! With no booth sales at Kroger this year (and just Covid restrictions in general), I wasn’t sure how she’d do. I helped her make a video to share with family, friends (and Facebook!), so that’s helped her meet her goal. Now we are just waiting on the cookies, so we can safely deliver them. Hayden wants his Lemonade cookies, STAT!

The kids will be surprised because I actually placed a small order to be shipped to the house while we wait on the bigger orders to come in. I’ve been so impressed with our out of town fam and friends receiving their orders in a matter of days! Real talk: I want my Peanut Butter Patties as much as Hayden wants his Lemonade cookies.

2.

and this…

3.

Of course, Bernie had to hang with my favorite ladies!

4.

Sophia and Bernie are quite a match!

My gma sent me this one πŸ™‚
5.

As much as I love my GGs, the Big Bang Bernie meme is the best.

6.

and…teacher memes for the win!

And I can’t find it but there was a meme of Bernie on the school playground with a caption about “teachers on playground duty.” haha πŸ˜‚

And now…on to…

First of the Year Funnies:

7.

Dorothy speaks the truth!

8.

While this one made me laugh, I still love January for a fresh start!

9.

Surely 2021 just started off rough and will get its act together.

I had a lot of memes this month thanks to the help of social media and Bernie. This post basically wrote itself. πŸ˜‚

Ok…let me end on one very recent favorite Bernie meme:

Go Chiefs!

I hope these provide a laugh or two to start your week!

Take care,

December Memes: Holiday Edition

Hello and Happy Monday! I’m going to keep it rather short and sweet today because I’m typing this in between rounds of baking cookies…with the kids!

We had a great weekend filled with Christmas fun. I’ll share more about that tomorrow!

For now, here are some holiday themed memes I’ve seen over the past month that have made me laugh out loud!

Enjoy!

1.

Tis the season…

2.

Y’all, I feel this one deeply. My Christmas cards finally arrived, but I’m still waiting on a few key packages to arrive that I ordered WEEKS ago!

3.

I didn’t even get to the laundry this weekend. Sigh.

4.

Well, I didn’t get out of my pajamas yesterday! That being said, whether it’s warm or cold outside, I’m all about the pj lyfe as soon as I get home.

5.

Bahahaha!

6.

Sometimes Facebook it just too much for me to handle…haha

7.

This one is a classic, and I love it!

8.

This one reminds me of Hadley who always checks “I tried” rather than “naughty” or “nice” on the wish list paper the elf leaves the kids.

9.

This rings true… especially in 2020. We’ve spent a lot of time together this year! Really, I just want to tag someone else in for bedtime. I’m sure I will give up over the next two weeks, and they will be tucking ME into bed!

10.

Oh 2020…you’ve been a doozy!

I hope these memes started your week off right with a laugh or two!

We are thankful to not be setting an alarm for the next few weeks and have less to do. I’m finished buying gifts, I but still need to make myself wrap everything which feels like such a chore. While it’s nice to have a break from school, we still have a few errands and appointments this week which makes it hard for me to feel like I can just relax and chill. The second week of break tends to be more relaxing for me.

Anyway, I hope you have a great week! I plan on blogging Tuesday and Wednesday this week, so I’ll see you then!

November Memes

Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

We kicked our weekend off with the kids having a small, outdoor birthday party with a few friends. The weather was perfect, and they had a great day! (more about that tomorrow!)

On Saturday, we were able to relax most of the morning, and then headed to the kids’ running club cross country meet. I knew we’d lucked out with Friday’s weather, but on Saturday hanging out in the cold temperatures and blustery winds while watching them run, made me so grateful for Friday’s perfect day. The meet was a national youth race with lots of teams from many states which provided some tough competition. They both ran better than they did at state two weeks ago, and felt good about their races! Hadley ran 40 seconds faster than she ran at the state meet, and Hayden had his first under 12 minute 3k race time. We were, as always, very proud of their effort…and thankful for the food truck selling hot chocolate πŸ˜‰

On Sunday, the weather was cool and rainy. Of course, I got my groceries for the week, we took some time to organize the house, and then went to another outside birthday party for our friends, who are twins, and turning 13!

OG kid crew ❀️

Then, it was time to settle in for the night, watch the KC Chiefs, and get ready for the short school week!

Like I do once a month, I’m sharing some of my favorite memes with you.

1.

Sarcasm is my spirit animal. πŸ˜‚

2.

Y’all know I love my quiet time in the morning! I try to have my 45 minutes to myself before the rest of the house wakes up, so I don’t have to say this to them when they wake up:

3.

LOL. We love both Netflix and Chipolte!

4.

Daylight Savings Time is still rocking my world. On Saturday, it was only 7:00, and I was trying to get everyone to go to bed! We all were pretty worn out and in bed by 9:00. #partyanimallyfe

5.

Thankfully, virtual home school is still going pretty well at our house. That being said, it doesn’t matter the age, around this time of the school year, kids start to get extra silly and not take school as seriously as they do August-October.

6.

Another virtual school funny….

7.

2020 humor!

8.

I definitely need to find some time to meditate! That being said, I am getting back into working out a bit since my surgery which has been good for my mind, body and spirit! (and patience)πŸ˜‰

9.

Some day are better than others!

Hopefully, these memes provide a laugh or two to start your week! I hope to post Tuesday and Wednesday before taking the rest of the week off to celebrate Thanksgiving, hang out with family, get caught up on rest, and hopefully put out Christmas decorations!

Take care,
