Monday Memes

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a great one. I will share more about it later in the week.

For now…I can’t even believe it, but it’s the last Monday of the month! That means I’m sharing some of my favorite memes that made me laugh this month.

Let’s get started:

1.

Tough times, y’all!

2.

Whyyyy does it feel like we are living on the surface of the sun? Say a prayer that our a/c hangs on!

3.

Trying to do as a little as possible these last few weeks of summer.

4.

Always the car keys …

5.

Sounds like a good excuse for now…

6.

“Bussin'” is definitely a popular word in our house right now.

7.

I feel like my family is always in front of the silverware drawer or the trash can cabinet when I am cooking or trying to get dinner on the table.

8.

Not really, but this does make me LOL!

9.

Current diet plan:

(Not sure if it shows great restraint or laziness, but after I’ve brushed my teeth and completed my skin care routine, it’s a signal for me to stop eating…and go to bed)

10.

Facts 😩

…and one more because I guess I need to laugh rather than cry about school starting back soon:

Tomorrow, I’m sharing the books I read this month. I was a busy reader, that’s for sure!

Hello? How was your weekend? We had the best summer weekend. Travis and I went to dinner for our anniversary on Friday.

Saturday, we spent the day at the lake, and then yesterday I wrapped up the weekend at the New Kids on the Block concert with some of my friends! I will share more about all of those activities soon.

Since it’s the last Monday of the month (*sigh*), I’m sharing the best memes I saw this month!

1.

This one literally made me LOL.

2.

Y’all, this weekend about took me out! So much fun, but I can’t persevere like I used to!

3.

The English teacher in me laughed at this one.

4.

Nothing better than having less dishes to clean while cooking and baking.

5.

This one goes with #4!

6.

Relatable….especially before my first cup of coffee…

7.

This summer, I’ve become less and less presentable as I drop off and pick up my kids from their morning activities.

8.

Why am I such a worry wart?

9.

Thankfully, our temps have cooled a bit, but we are to the point where we could use some rain.

10.

So much extra trash in the summer…

I hope these provided a laugh or two.

Have a great Monday!

Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

Our was..you guessed it…busy! The kids both had friends spend the night on Friday. Then, we spent most of Saturday in Louisville for a track meet that continued to be delayed due lightning, so they never ran. Hadley had big plans on Saturday night while the rest of us just hung out at home. Sunday, the kids were busy at church and then we went back to Louisville for them both to run the 800 m race.

It was a great weekend, but I’m ready to get these last few days of school over with, so we can enjoy summer.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite memes from the month!

1.

Current mood:

my friend sent me this one and I definitely LOL’d.

2.

…and…

The answer is three. Three days left of school.

3.

Once May hits, I’m soooo over packing lunches. Hayden buys school lunch, and Hadley basically packs the same lunch every single day. I’m mostly tired of making lunch for myself.

4.

LOL

5.

Tis the season to hydrate…poolside!

6.

I also now pick up my kids from places while already in my pjs…I send texts like, “be ready and don’t make me come inside!”

7.

I heart carbs. (We went out to lunch after the track meet yesterday. Hayden ordered chicken fingers, and when they waitress asked what two sides he’d like, he said, “mashed potatoes and fries!” That’s my boy!)

8.

Current POV:

9.

This is me for sure. I rarely just sit and watch a show. I’m always trying to multi-task only to have to rewind…and maybe rewind again!

I hope these started your week off with a laugh or two!

Take care,

Hello! How was your weekend? Ours was really good. We had a late night Friday night watching Hayden run at an invitational track meet, and another late night on Saturday at the Chris Stapleton concert at Kroger Field.

Y’all- we were up until midnight two nights in a row. I couldn’t complain on Sunday because Travis actually got up at 4am to head to Louisville to meet clients and watch Derby horses workout.

Thankfully, yesterday provided some time to get ready for the week as well as a quick nap! The weather was beautiful for the entire weekend which was such a bonus.

With the month of April wrapping up, it’s time to look at some favorite memes that are both relatable and funny.

1.

Nothing says Monday (especially this Monday) like this meme:

2.

To go along with meme #1…

3.

Y’all! I do thisssss! 😬

4.

Hadley had a candy necklace recently and then I saw this meme 🤣

5.

Kroger pharmacy has changed the process for refilling prescriptions when you call…Instead of pressing 1 or 2 or whatever, I have to say what I want…and I hate it. This is who I am now…

That being said, if I can actually speak to a person, you better believe I’m saying “representative.” 🤣

6.

Pro tip. When Homer wakes up in the middle of the night, I lightly nudge Trav and tell him I “heard something.” It’s not a lie. What I heard was Homer, but hey, while he’s up, he can let Homer out 😉

7.

Relatable.

8.

I definitely do this! Even the first thing I jot down on our running grocery list goes on the list according to where it is in the store. (Produce up top, etc)

9.

My worst nightmare is replying all by accident!

10.

I’m embarrassed to admit to how bad I am at following GPS instructions…

I hope to post pretty regularly this week! We do have lots going on, so I will just take it day by day.

I hope you have a great one!

Monday Memes

Hello! Happy Monday. I can’t believe it’s the last Monday in March. This got me thinking…so I counted…only eight more Mondays of the school year. Of course, this is the best kind of Monday…the beginning of Spring Break.

Today, I’m sharing some of the memes that made me laugh this month!

A few favorite memes:

1.

Little kids don’t realize how good they’ve got it…do they?

2.

My phone is always on silent. Always. I guess I check it often enough that I don’t miss much, but I do remember spending money on ringtones. haha

3.

On repeat. My kids feel like it’s a victory if their plates, etc. get put in the sink. How about rinse them off and put them in the dishwasher? Help a mom out!

4.

Gas prices though….whhhhy?!

5.

Like just let me talk to a human, please!

6.

OMG. Hayden White. It’s a blessing and a curse that he has such an inquisitive mind.

7.

I’m having flashbacks to high school. This made me LOL.

8.

Sixteen years and still going strong. haha

9.

This!

10.

I’ve shared before that I’m not a fan of “springing” forward. I swear I’m still all out of whack. That being said, my car clock is always accurate. 🙂 (My dad leaves his microwave as is all year long…He can’t figure out how to change it. haha)

I hope you had a great weekend. Have you had Spring Break yet? Today’s plans aren’t too exciting…We are crossing some things off our “to do” lists and then hope to enjoy the rest of the week.

I’m planning on sharing the two books I read in March later this week…and then hopefully Friday Favorites as well.

Thanks for reading,

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a great one, but it was busy. Really busy. Hayden had five basketball games in 24 hours followed by Hadley’s dance competition in Louisville Saturday evening. I’m really thankful to have this Monday off to get organized for the week and have some much needed downtime.

Today, I’m sharing some memes that made me laugh this month!

1.

Y’all, I slayed Keyboarding 1 and Keyboarding 2 in high school. Loved those classes.

2.

I mean, am I wrong? 😉

3.

I feel seen.

4.

Ahh! The Olympics are wrapping up. I’m always so amazed by these athletes.

5.

This is very relatable 🤣

6.

How can no one in my family ever hear me when I call for them or say something? I always remind them that we don’t live in a big house…and my voice carries!

7.

I’m sure you’ve seen this meme floating around Instagram post-Super Bowl. So funny and so true!

8.

This is definitely a good idea!

Funny stuff, right?!

Have a great week. Mine is starting off with no alarm and unlimited coffee!

Monday Memes

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a good one filled with productivity, sports, errands and more.

I can’t believe January is almost over which means it’s time for me to share some of my favorite memes from that month.

Here’s the month’s edition of:

1.

You’ve probably seen this meme, and it just makes me laugh. Re-entry after a two week break is rough. On top of that, we haven’t had much consistency to our school schedule due to the weather, so this month just seems to go on forever.

2.

Am I right?

3.

Y’all, can we catch a break?

4.

Please tell me better days will be here by spring!

5.

This is definitely me. I wish it wasn’t…but it is.

6.

I feel seen.

7.

Target. Every single time.

8.

This one made me chuckle. I’m team #foreveronabudget

9.

You know I love Amazon. I am really good about returning items I don’t want or know we won’t use. Most of the time, I request for the money to be returned to my debit card, but other times, if the item didn’t cost much, I will just have them refund it back to my Amazon balance. What a side hustle!

10.

There are so many places that need to take note of CFA. I’m never scared of that line!

I just add in memes to this post throughout the month. Once I started writing this, I realized there are still so many Covid themed memes. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I sure hope when you read this, your Monday started off with a chuckle. We’re all in this together!

I hope you have a great week.

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a great one. I’d been wanting a peppermint shake from Chick-fil-a, but hadn’t gotten one yet this season. So, we started off break with me picking up the kids and a couple of their friends after school. We headed to CFA for a treat. It was fun hearing the kids talk about all the middle school things, and they were definitely excited for break.

Friday night, we celebrated a close friend’s 40th birthday. We all had a great time.

Saturday started with a basketball game for Hayden. Then, the four of us went out to lunch and then split up to let the kids pick out their gifts for each other. I took Hayden, and Travis took Hadley. I love this tradition, and it is always fun to see what they pick out for each other.

Sunday, I was up before everyone else, and enjoyed my quiet time.

Then, we went to church, I ran a few errands, and then I got some time at home to relax and wrap presents while Travis took the kids to Louisville for the afternoon.

This morning, I was excited to not set an alarm and to be able to ease into the day. #itsthelittlethings

How in the world is it already only five days until Christmas?! Before this month wraps up, I wanted to share some of my favorite memes with you!

1.

Y’all, one night last week at 9:30 I was so tired and wanted to go to bed. I opened my spice cabinet to put something away and couldn’t handle how unorganized it was. I’d been needing to purge it for some time. Not even ten minutes later with fifteen expired (hello! 2014!) spices in the trash, and it was a whole new cabinet! I slept really great after that 😉

2.

Hmmm…who could this be about? #rhymeswithmaiden

3.

My morning time before the rest of the house wakes up is some of the best time of the day for me.

4.

I feel seen.

A few holiday memes…

5.

I wrap most of my presents while in the basement. No matter how organized I try to be, I swear I have to come upstairs at least twice for scissors, a marker, or tape!

6.

Haha! The kids each have a Trader Joe’s advent calendar, and they enjoy their morning chocolate. Thankfully, I can show some restraint.

7.

For some reason, all last week, I would wake up about a half hour before my alarm. I swear my brain would just turn on thinking of everything I needed to do that day.

8.

I’m forever sitting there doing the math trying to figure out if it’s worth it to buy something else in order to get the free shipping. Thankfully, with Amazon, I don’t have to do that kind of math. #freeshippingforever

9.

Speaking of shipping…

…and, I don’t want to jinx anything, but I haven’t experienced many delays in what I’ve ordered.

10.

This one just made me chuckle. It’s so easy to get stressed out this time of the year. I’ve been trying just take each day as it comes and enjoy this holiday season as much as I can.

and…

as of Friday at 3:30, everything officially became a “January” problem 🤣

I hope these memes started your week off with a laugh or two.

We don’t have much to do today, so I hope to finish wrapping presents. I plan on posting tomorrow and Wednesday, so be sure to come back!

Take care,

Hello! How was your Thankgiving break? We had a great one. An added bonus was that we had an entire week off.

We started break celebrating the kids’ with their birthday party,

followed by their birthday,

and then we headed to KC to see family for Thanksgiving.

I can’t believe it’s almost December. Where has the month of November gone? Honestly, November is the craziest month for me with Travis working so much, the kids’ birthday, and then Thanksgiving travel. December will be pretty hectic as well, but it never feels as crazy as November does for me.

Here are a few memes that I saw this month that made me laugh!

1.

In the spirit of the holidays, I had to share this one. Green bean casserole is one of my holiday faves!

2.

This will especially be me today!

3.

I feel seen.

4.

Every. Single. Time.

5.

‘Tis the season to be tired!

6.

My work friends and I have shared this meme with each other and always laugh because we can relate!

7.

Target is the place to be!

8.

Yep!

9.

So timely, and literally made me laugh out loud!

10.

This happens in my kitchen often. Of course, we have the one drawer with an item or two that just don’t fit. I always find this out when I’m in a rush to make dinner!

I hope you have a great week.

Unfortunately, I feel like this is me today: 😂

Re-entry is always tough, but I’m going to make the most of the day. My “to-do” list isn’t giving me much of a choice 😉

Hello and Happy Monday! Well, the weekend sure went by quickly. We had a good mix of being busy and having some downtime. We were able to make it to the orchard to get pumpkins (and apple cider donuts) after school on Friday. Then, Hayden had basketball games Saturday and Sunday. We also spent time baking cookies, having dinner with friends, and going to church. I will share more details later in the week, but for now I’m sharing memes that made me laugh this month!

1.

This one was just appropriate for the month and made me laugh:

2.

I’ve said before that there’s no tired like teacher tired at the beginning of the year. Well, now it’s almost November, and I think we are all feeling this kind of tired:

While the year has been good, it’s just been hard for most that I know. To go with the meme, yes, the sub and bus driver shortage are real!

3.

Mind. Blown.

4.

Besides being a teacher, do you know what else is tough work? Being the mom of tween twins. While I don’t mind them keeping us busy with sports and dance, I swear they go a mile a minute from sun up to sun down….especially Hadley.

5.

Step one foot in the mall (or teach high school!), and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

6.

Haha…I feel like I only notice “bad signs” rather than the good ones…

7.

I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry.

8.

Homer! 🤣

9.

The only math I will do!

10.

This is definitely me! Even with less going on this weekend, I still only was able to watch a bit of TV. I so badly wanted to watch more episodes of Maid and even binge some Real Housewives, but barely had the time to do so.

I hope these memes gave you a laugh or two to start your week! I have some posts planned for this week, so make sure to come back!

Have a great day!
