Hello and Happy Friday!
How was your week? Ours was pretty good. I feel like we are finally back in a pretty good routine after break…it always takes a few weeks to get back on track.
As always, I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika for this week’s Friday Favorites.

Y’all, for the first time ever, on a Friday, I don’t have much to share. I mean, we did things…but I didn’t really document. Hadley tried out for a club volleyball team and is excited about her team.
Hayden had his first 7th grade basketball game, but I only took a few pics and they are mostly blurry. Oh well. I try to just enjoy the game most of the time anyway.

I thought I’d do something a little different and share some of my favorites.
I feel like this month I’ve shared a bit more about only me thanks to the Bloganuary challenge and my other blog post topics…so let’s keep that going, I guess.
I saw this on Pinterest and thought it looked fun!

- Favorite gum: I don’t chew gum.
- Favorite candy or treat: My sweet tooth is a real problem. I love a mini snickers or scoop of ice cream.

Relatable, right?

Bonus Fave: Flashback Friday:
2014 …the first time the kids went sledding. We had that red saucer until last year…it was the best on the snow…until one of them ran over a big rock! #bigkidsdoingtricks

Weekly Recap:
I’m on a roll posting in January thanks to Bloganuary.
What are your weekend plans? We have no real plans tonight or tomorrow night. Hayden has a race on Sunday, and then we’ll cheer on the Chiefs. Let’s hope Mahomes’ ankle holds up. #fingerscrossed
I will have a post tomorrow too. I’m joining the Share 4 Somethings link up, and then I might as well share a Bloganuary post on Sunday to round out the month.
Thanks so much for reading.

We lost our Puccini’s! That was a great place to take kids! I loved reading these responses. I love a rice krispie treat. Sometimes I like them with peanut butter mixed into the marshmallow. Have you had them like that with chocolate on top and called a scotcheroo? I think?
You should make the bacon and tomato pasta by Shay. I also made up a pasta last night for dinner for just me – whole wheat penne, bacon, and sundried tomatoes.

We love Pucciniโs. We have two here. Itโs a great spot. I love scotcheroos. I think after you mentioned them to me, I made them and then shared the recipe. My mom used to occasionally make them. We just got a call at 6:15. No school due to ice. ??

I still don’t know why ours closed!
Oooh, aren’t they so good! I love peanut butter so much alone and with chocolate.
What? You had a long weekend! I am so jealous!

Most random snow day ever. We had dry roads on our side of town but apparently a mess other parts.

Ha! I would take it as long as I didn’t have to make it up. We still do not have a solid snow day plan that I am aware of! Will it be traditional or virtual? Argh!

We all couldnโt believe it wasnโt an NTI day. Iโm guessing they will be from here on out. I have no clue if we will have to make it up. We always go more days than we need to sometimes we donโt make up a couple.

Oh that is fun; I’m definitely going to save that graphic and use it at some point! We do have the same favorite flowers.. but that’s about it. I can never pass up a bowl of pasta though I don’t know if I’d think of it as my favorite meal.

I also love Cream of Wheat, which I wouldn’t say is a common response for favorite breakfast. Enjoy your weekend!

I donโt like oatmeal but love cream of wheat. My kids do too. Iโm sure thatโs not a common response haha. I donโt eat breakfast but typically have cream of wheat on Saturday or Sunday

I love cream of wheat, too. So Iโm curious- what do you put on it? I like honey, Lawson likes brown sugar.

Iโve only ever done brown sugar. Never thought of honey! Sounds good though
