Prime Purchases: March 2022

Hello! Happy March 1st! Where did February go?! I’ve been really pleased with my Amazon purchases this month, so I’m linking up with Tanya to share them today.

Here are my purchases this month:

Hayden has had the same bed skirt for years…and it’s been ripped for years. Earlier this month, I just figured I’d see what Amazon had to offer, and of course they had a navy blue bed skirt!

Since both of my kids are in braces, they really needed good toothbrushes to make sure they are doing a good job brushing their teeth. After their last cleaning appointment, I purchased this electric toothbrush in black for Hayden and pink for Hadley.

Once theirs arrived, I decided to replace my electric toothbrush with one of these as well. So, three electric toothbrushes were ordered in less than a week. There are five cleaning modes, and it came with a pack of brushes. The charge lasts for 60 hours!

How cute is this stool? Once I put away all the holiday decor, I wanted something for height that could hold a plant in the living room. This stool is perfect.

Hayden has been having some neck tension, so Travis ordered this heat wrap for him. Well, really it’s ended up being for everyone! We take turns popping it in the microwave. It stays so warm for quite a while, and it’s the perfect way to relax those neck and back muscles.

Tell me you’re a dance mom without telling me you’re a dance mom! Hadley needs a red lip for competition, and this is the brand/color her studio uses.

Homer loves to hop up on the couch, and his other blanket had a hole in it. Much like when I ordered the bed skirt, one day I just got tired of the small, ratty blanket with a hole in it, and upgraded Homer’s bedding to this blanket.

Homer approves…

**I should say, “Homer approved.” Not sure why, but after a few days of lounging on the blanket, Homer refuses to get on the couch if the blanket is out. Now, he rests on his dog bed…on the floor…where he should be. While I give this dog blanket a ringing endorsement, I’m not sure how Homer would rate it?! That being said, he’s now on his dog bed more than ever…which is a win!

*follow me for more dog training tips* 🤣

I’d had the same magnetic clips on the side of the fridge for all of the elementary years. While middle school does mean less papers, I still needed some clips after one of the originals broke. I only need a couple, so I’ve used the others as chip clips!

Travis bought this cube power strip in order to get our TV cords under control on the living room built in shelves. He didn’t realize that it would be a bit bigger than the hole we have cut out for the wires, but he figured it out and made it work. It is a better option than the black power strip we had previously.

In the history of my Amazon posts, his may be my most random share. A couple of months ago, my dad found these fruit cakes on Amazon, and asked me to order them for him. Well, he loved them enough that he asked me to order them again! I’m not sure if you are in need of a fruit cake, but the Major gives this brand two thumbs up!

What have you “Primed” lately? I’m sure next month’s purchases will include some Easter basket ideas! Now that it’s March, I’m ready for warmer days and regular doses of sunshine.

On Thursday, I’m sharing the books I read in February. See you back here then.

Prime Purchases: February 2022

Hello! Happy February 1st! I have a few Amazon items to share and am linking up with Tanya to do so.

My recent Amazon finds:

This Neoprene bag was a birthday gift from my mom. So, while I didn’t purchase it, I did suggest it to her! I’ve used it a few times for school as well as to pack when I know I have a busy weekend. I also used it to carry my personal belongings and cosmetics when we went to Cincinnati for the night in early January. I plan on using it more in the spring and summer when I’m headed to the kids’ track meets and activities. I love the cute pattern, and it’s great quality!

Hadley needed some new rain boots, and I had ordered her some Sperry’s on sale for Christmas, but they didn’t fit. When I went to order another size, the price had gone way up, so Hadley found these instead. They are so cute, and perfect for rainy days; she’s even worn them on snowy days when we are out running errands. If only she was a size 9…then, we could share! She’s almost there.

I technically purchased this mattress topper at the end of December with some Christmas money, but I wanted to use it for a bit before sharing. We’ve had our mattress for quite some time, and probably need a new one. A friend mentioned buying a pillow top mattress topper, and I’m so glad she did.

This one is a dream! It has 18,000 four and a half star reviews, so I felt good about buying it. It’s not too soft, but it’s just enough to really help our really old (and firm!) mattress.

I had actually suggested this as a practical Christmas gift for the kids, and my mom each got them one for their double beds. We all are all overdue for new mattresses, and these quilted toppers will help extend the mattress life a bit.

Lastly, with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought this sweater looked fun! It arrived, and I loved the quality and design, but wasn’t sure if it was right for me.

….but, I tried it on again (excuse the wrinkles on the sweater) with denim and wedges and I do think I really like it! I also ordered it in gray with a white heart, but I’m still waiting on it to come in. Then, I will keep one and return the other.

I had a pretty “light” Amazon month. Of these four, two were bought in late December, and one was a gift! I’m still going to try and slow my Amazon roll for February as well. I know Travis will really appreciate that! haha

I hope your week is off to a great start.

Prime Purchases: January 2022

Hello! Today, I have a big post of lots of Amazon goodness from the past month. So much of my Christmas shopping came from Amazon as well as gift ideas I gave to family. Today, I’m sharing the first Prime Purchases post of 2022.

As always, I’m linking up with Tanya.

I organized today’s post based on a few purchases for home and myself along with some gifts for the kids, Travis, and myself.

Home + Me:

I ordered this oversized sweater in hopes that it would be perfect to wear with leggings, and it didn’t disappoint. I chose the green color because I wanted to wear it to holiday parties with my Spanx leather leggings. This sweater is perfect, and I’ve already worn it so many times. It comes in a variety of colors too!

I also have worn it to school and to church with black pants and heels.

‘Tis the season for needing tissues! I always hate having the Kleenex box on the counter, but this cover (I got it in pastel gray) helps make the tissues blend in with the decor. I even bought one for a smaller gift for my Gma, and it comes in a variety of colors.

I’ve shared these lunch box notes many times, and I keep purchasing them time and time again. The sayings are perfect, they are printed on card stock, and Hadley loves receiving them in her lunches.

I rarely use the term “life changing,” but if you drink tea and don’t have an electric kettle, I’m telling you that this one is a must. I’ve been trying to drink tea instead of coffee some days, and this kettle is amazing. Two cups of water is boiling in about three minutes. No more waiting for the kettle on the stove top to boil. My mom also used it when she last visited to make her tea.

Kitchen:

I was in need a few replacement items for my kitchen. I asked for these three items and received them from my mother-in-law as gifts. I’ve already used all of them quite a few times, and they are just what I needed to refresh my utensils and cookware.

I got these measuring cups in “mint,” and they also come in gray, navy, pink, and white. I love the rose gold handle detail.

This silicone 5 piece utensil set is just what I needed to update my outdated utensils. Besides the mint color, this set also comes in black, black/white, blue and white, multicolor (so fun!), navy and pink.

I threw out two griddles once I received this new non-stick square griddle. My other two had seen better days, and this one is perfect for our needs.

Hayden:

I thought these socks were fun for Hayden. He’s on his Xbox right now as I work on this post!

I got Travis this beanie with LED light last year, and I knew it would be perfect for Hayden too.

Hadley:

Hadley requested a planner (and PaperMate pens!) for Christmas. I thought this planner was perfect for her. This planner is the smaller size and includes stickers.

Middle school has been quite the adjustment with managing deadlines, to do lists, and homework. Hadley likes to work in her room, and I thought this lap desk would be perfect for her to sit, work on her computer, and have a space for her phone and other materials. (full disclosure: I believe this was on sale when I bought it)

Hadley asked for this straightening brush, and I’d never heard of a product like this before. It has been perfect for her to run through her hair in the morning to both brush and smooth out her waves. Maybe she will let me borrow it?

Travis:

As I mentioned earlier, Travis has the beanie with LED light, but I thought this blue tooth beanie would be another great option for him to wear on his runs.

Travis spends many days in January working outside, so I thought these hot socks would be perfect for keeping his feet warm. These socks are insulated and are designed trap in the heat.

Lastly, I don’t know how we’ve survived all these years of baseball without a wagon to cart our stuff to and from. During this past cross country season, I realized how beneficial the wagon would be, and teased Travis that he needed one to keep up with all the other coaches. Obviously, we can use this for baseball, cross country, the beach, and other times too!

This was his “big” gift from us, and I felt good about buying it because it has over 6,000 five star reviews. He was pleased with the purchase, and I’m sure we will get lots of use out of it.

Shew! That was quite the list. So many great things! That being said, I’ve shared before that my “dry” January is my promise to Travis that I will not spend much money coming off the holidays and the kids’ November birthday! So, my February Prime Purchases will probably be much shorter!

I love that Tanya hosts this link up, and I can’t wait to see what others have purchased!

I hope your week is off to a great start. I’m headed back to reality today!

Prime Purchases: December 2021

Hello! Well, today is one of my favorite posts of the month. I always love sharing my purchases as much as I love seeing what others have bought on Amazon this month.

So, I’m linking up with Tanya for this month’s Prime Purchases.

Here are my purchases this month:

Since I bought a second pencil tree this year, I decided to re-order the same tree skirt that I bought last year. I love this white knitted tree skirt. It’s the perfect touch for my trees.

I shared this tunic top in a Friday Favorites post, and it’s still one of my faves to wear. I love the color and the style so much.

Well, Hayden is catching up with Hadley. He grew five inches this year which means his “holiday” pants don’t fit. He knows I don’t care if he wears shorts 95% of the time, but he needs at least one, maybe two pairs of khaki pants.

I actually bought both pairs assuming I’d return one. Then, once he tried them on and they fit, I remembered they were each only $16, so we kept both! It’s good to have options.

Hadley has pretty good skin, but she asked for these “pimple patches” to take care of the occasional blemish. They’ve come in handy a time or two. Also, the whole family can use them if needed 😉

Pimple patches

The kids were long overdue for some hangers. I’d often find their clothes on the floor of their closets because they mostly had the smaller hangers. I guess big kids with big clothes need bigger hangers!

Hangers

I purchased this candle pack for my friend who has a December birthday! I thought she could use these all month long. They came in this cute box, and they smell so good.

Scented Christmas candles

I recapped a few of the kids’ birthday gifts that I purchased from Amazon last month. (Everything is linked in that post) I got Hayden these golf balls and a book. Hadley received a book as well along with the popcorn popper.

I also picked up this candle, but it will be a Christmas gift for her. It’s so cute, and smells great.

Technically, this last item is a December purchase, but my new Christmas table runner arrived yesterday.

Table runner

I ordered the longer one (14×108″), and it’s the perfect festive fit! Just thought I’d share now in case it’s something anyone is interested in for holiday decor.

I’m also sharing some of my best purchases of 2021. Some of these were also purchases in 2020 that I’ve bought again for gifts throughout the year.

A recent love is the popcorn popper that I got Hadley for her birthday. We use it so much, and I think it’s a great gift idea too! We have the “family size,” but they have a “snack” size as well; and there are a few color choices. This would be so cute in a basket with popcorn kernels and some seasonings!

Here are my top five from the year (in no particular order):

I have this sweater in two colors and wear it on repeat. It’s perfect to wear with leggings or denim, and it is definitely worth the price point. Both of my sweaters are ones I pull from my closet often.

Turtleneck sweater

I have these slippers and put them on almost every morning. They are the first thing I put on my feet when I get home from school. I wear them in the summer and the winter. They are definitely a “must have” for me, and I’ve given them as a gift to a few friends.

Slippers

I drink out of this coffee mug most mornings. It seems to keep my coffee warm longer than my other mugs even without the lid. It comes in a variety of colors, and, like the slippers, it’s another gift I’ve given throughout the year.

Coffee mug

I have two of these blankets in the “slate blue” color in my living room, and we all love them. They are soft, cozy and not too heavy. It comes in a variety of sizes and colors.

Waffle fleece blanket

Let’s just say my gift giving “theme” must be cozy. The slippers, mug, and blanket are all I need to be happy.

I know most people aren’t thinking about sandals in December, but Hadley and I both have a pair of these, and they are on our feet all summer long. She has them in white, and I have the rose gold color. They are a great Birk dupe, and you can’t beat the price.

Sandals

I have one more purchase to share. Besides the “clapper” that I use for my sunroom tree, these plug in with remote make it so convenient to turn off lamps, light up decorations or Christmas trees. I use this three pack for the living room tree, Hadley’s tree, and the tree in my room. Every evening I just click all three off without having to walk around unplugging everything.

Remote control outlet plugs

The ones I bought last year seem to be in limited stock, but this brand has over 10,000 4.5 star reviews. I’m guessing they would be perfect if you are looking for something like this.

Outlet plugs

Shew! That was quite a post. Amazon is always so convenient, but I feel like it’s such a great option during the holidays. I can’t wait to see what others have to share!

Thanks so much for reading,

Prime Purchases: November 2021

Hello! The Halloween costumes are put away, so now it’s time to start thinking about birthday gifts for my kids, turkey, and of course, Christmas gift ideas. November and December are very overwhelming months for me. I need to start making a list (and checking it twice!) I’m hoping Amazon will be of big help like in years past!

Since it’s the first Tuesday of the month, I’m linking up with Tanya for her this month’s Prime Purchases.

This month month I bought:

I have these 7/8 leggings in gray and black. I purchased another pair in navy. I can’t say enough good things about these leggings. I love the length, the angled hem, and the side pocket. My other pairs have held up nicely, and are the perfect fit.

7/8 leggings

I purchased this dress to wear to Keeneland with friends a few weeks ago. It’s pretty, flowy and comfy!

Flowy 3/4 sleeve dress

I wanted a bigger purse for fall and winter. I still use my messenger bag, but sometimes I want something that will hold more. I guess in the cooler and colder months, I feel like I have more to carry. I loved the look of this purse, and it also has the cross body option. I’d been missing a purse that has pockets, and I love that this one has so many storage options. I purchased the gray brown gun metal color, and I love it.

Hobo Purse

Hadley and her friends decided to make their costumes pretty simple, and they each were a different animal for Halloween. Of course, I would have bought Hadley a costume anyway, but the fact that she will wear this onsie as pajamas was a win as well. The past two Christmases, I’ve given her onsie animal pjs (from Target), so I knew she’d wear this one over time as well.

Giraffe onsie

A quick and easy costume and cozy pjs…what more can she ask for?!

I usually put Christmas lights up around my white board at school in the winter months. I decided I wanted something for year round, so I ordered this pack of string lights.

Lights

I put them up in my classroom within minutes. They come with a remote with different settings, but I just keep them on the regular setting. Students get distracted enough without the help of flashing lights!

I’m very pleased with my Prime Purchases this month. What have you been Priming?

We don’t have school today, so I’m going to get caught up on my weekend chores! Tomorrow, I’m sharing the details from our fun and festive Halloween.

Thanks so much for reading,

Prime Purchases: October 2021

Hello! It’s the first Tuesday of the month, so I’m linking up with Tanya for this month’s Prime Purchases.

This month, I bought a few things for me, a few things for the kids, and a few things for fall.

Here’s what I bought:

For the Kids:

Hadley has had the same lunch bag for a couple of years, and after a spill, she needed a new one. I let her click around, and this is the one she chose:

Lunch bag

She said her lunch table friends said it was so cute. That’s a win for sure in middle school.

Speaking of lunches, since Hadley still takes her lunch most days, I restocked my favorite lunch box notes. I used these last year as well. They have such cute sayings and are on good, quality paper.

Lunch box notes

I bought these cooling towels for Hayden for after his cross country races. I can’t believe I didn’t buy them in the summer when he was playing so much baseball in the heat. He’s used them after some hot races, and they will be perfect for baseball season as well.

Cooling towels

For Fall:

I purchased this runner for my kitchen table, and it’s the perfect touch of fall. (It comes in a variety of colors, and I got the 14″ x 108″ for our large kitchen table.)

Checkered runner

This four pack of fall pillow covers was perfect for sprucing up the the front porch and adding some fall touches to the sun room.

Pillow covers

Also, Hadley still loves her new pumpkin sweatshirt. Again, it comes in a variety of colors, and it’s about $20!

Pumpkin sweatshirt

For Me:

I’ve been buying this base and top coat combo for a couple of years, and it was time for more. The top coat helps my at home manicures last at least a week!

Nail polish

Y’all these earrings are my fave. I only typically wear stud earrings, and these have been my “go to” pair for a couple of years. Sadly, I lost one at school a couple of weeks ago, so I just went ahead and ordered this same pair. I love the rose gold color, and they are less than $9 (with an extra $1 coupon too!)

Stud earrings

My watch band that I’ve worn for almost two straight years broke recently, so I purchased the set to replace it. I’ve never been good about changing watch bands, but I’ve switched these out a few times already. I love this color set, but there are other color options as well.

Watch bands

A few faves:

With the cooler weather approaching, I thought I’d share a few of my fall/winter clothing favorites from last year.

This sweater was my hands down favorite purchase of last winter. It’s worth every penny, and I have it in a couple of colors.

Tunic sweater

This sweater is perfect for fall and warm enough for the colder temps of winter.

Fuzzy knit sweater

I wear this cardigan as a robe with my pjs, but I also wear it to school or out to dinner!

Chunky knit cardigan

These joggers are so comfy! I wear them as styled below, but I’ve also worn them with flats and a sweater to school!

Joggers

I can’t wait to wear these items again!

What have you Primed lately? I always love seeing what others have purchased.

Prime Purchases: September 2021

Hello! How was your weekend? I love a three day weekend, and this one was much needed! Back to school has felt like a big adjustment, so it was nice to have yesterday off. Now, I just need to conquer this four day week 😉

Today, I’m linking up with Tanya to share this month’s Prime Purchases.

I saw these meme recently, and they certainly apply to me over the past month (6 weeks?):

…and…

I feel like I have lots of purchases this month BUT a few were from July as well. Also, honestly, if I didn’t buy them from Amazon, I would have made multiple trips to Target and other stores, so Prime definitely continues to be a life saver!

Here are my purchases:

I’ve shared some of these items in previous posts this month, but now I’m putting everything in one Amazon post…

I mentioned that I got these sandals before our trip to California, and I wear them almost every day to school. Also, I’ve paired them with shorts, jeans, and white pants.

These sandals are one of my favorite purchases of the summer.

Sandals

I also shared this dress in my California trip recap, and I’ve worn it to church and to school as well.

Here I am as we were about to head to the track…

…and a better look at the split collar.

Plaid Dress

Hadley continues to love her back to school shorts. She has them in the rose color as well as gray and black.

We got her a women’s xs, and here they are in gray.

Linen Ruffle Shorts

This shirt has been a perfect transition piece because it’s lightweight and comfy.

This dress was perfect for summer,

vacation, and…

school! I paired it with my sandals, and I’ve also worn the gray version of this dress and paired it with sneakers and a cardigan for school.

The light weight sweater and short sleeve sweatshirt have been perfect for cooler summer days. I’ve worn both with shorts, jeans, and even my favorite Matilda Jane ruffle pants.

This waffle batwing sleeve cardigan has been a favorite of mine to throw over sleeveless dresses.

So, I had lots of clothing purchases over the past six weeks, but I knew that we were headed on our trip and then school would be starting back right after we returned. I was intentional about buying items that I knew I could wear casually and for school. Also, August 2020, for back to school, I was still wearing leggings and sweatshirts! It’s been since August 2019 that I needed to buy a few school clothing items. #makingupforlosttime

I shared a post about finally taking the time to purge my makeup bag and start fresh. I’d had the same bag, brushes, and products for far too long.

Makeup bag // Eye shadow palette // Makeup brushes

What have you been Priming lately?

Next month’s link up is on October 5th.

Thanks so much for supporting my blog by reading my posts and using affiliate links. I appreciate it! I hope you have a great week.

Prime Purchases: August 2021

Hello! How’s it going? We are holding on tight to summer over here! Yesterday, the kids helped me set up my classroom for year number 20! I can’t even believe that I am 2/3 of the way finished with my teaching career. Time sure does fly by! Then, we spent the afternoon at the pool followed by lots of neighborhood kids playing outside and an impromptu decision to pick up some carry out pizzas for dinner. We had a perfect summer Monday, that’s for sure.

Today, I’m linking up with Tanya for this month’s Prime Purchases.

Here’s what I bought this month:

First up is the mini massage gun for Travis. Travis is a runner, and he always takes the time to stretch and cool down. The massage gun was the perfect birthday gift for him!

Massage Gun

I wanted to add in a Vitamin C serum to my routine to help brighten up my skin. I’ve been using this serum once a day, and it’s been a good addition to my skin care routine.

Vitamin C Serum

I recently shared that I bought a messenger bag, and I turned to Amazon to find the perfect strap for summer. I thought this black, pink, and rose gold one was fun. There are lots of cute color and pattern options.

Purse Strap

I actually have another one ordered that will be here in a couple weeks. I love being able to change out the straps for different seasons.

I purchased this dress for an upcoming occasion, and I was pleasantly surprised with the blue and white pattern and how easy breezy it is for summer.

Plaid Tunic Dress

I love this pink top because it can be paired with my white jeans or denim shorts. It’s a great summer option that I can also wear to school.

Flowy Blouse

Hayden was in need of a new back pack, and chose this Under Armour one. It arrived, is great quality, and there are lots of color options.

Under Armour Backpack

As I prep for our back to school celebration, I continued the book tradition and picked this one up for Hadley:

Middle School book

…and this one for Hayden:

6th Grade Ninja book

As expected, this month’s purchases included some things for back to school as well as a few things for myself 😉 (+ a gift for Trav!)

Tanya’s next link up is September 7th.

Well, my kids are off to get their middle school schedules and meet their teachers today. I don’t know what’s harder to believe…the fact that summer is almost over or that I’m about to have two kids in middle school!

What have you been Priming lately?

See you back here tomorrow!

Prime Purchases: July 2021

Hello! How was your weekend? I’m still trying to get back in the swing of things post-vacation. I’m caught up on laundry, I’ve been to the grocery, and now I’m trying to get my life together with summer school session 2 starting this week, kids’ activities and more! Take me back to the sunshine and sand!

We had a lowkey 4th of July…Trav took the kids to the pool while I did the some laundry and grocery shopping. We grilled out and then watched fireworks from our favorite spot!

Bonus! Travis was (still) off work yesterday, so we went out to lunch to celebrate his upcoming birthday.

Today, I’m linking up with Tanya for this month’s Prime Purchases post.

Well, this month was apparently all about me! haha In preparation for vacation, I bought myself a few items. (and some goggles for the kids!)

First up is the midi dress. I actually bought it at the end of May, and wore it to Hadley’s dance recital. I know it’s something I will wear to school and a few other times this summer. Also, I think it can be dressed up or down which is always something I think about when spending “a little more” on an item. This dress comes in a few color options and definitely doesn’t disappoint!

Boho Midi Dress

Here we are at Hadley’s dance recital:

I’ve had this dress saved on my Amazon list, and I knew I wanted to order it before vacation. I love this dress so much. It’s great quality, flowy, and super cute. The embroidery flower detail makes for a more elevated feel, and this dress is so comfy and easy to wear.

Leopard Babydoll Dress

Hadley got these faux Birks last year in white. She wore them all last summer and this summer as well. They’ve held up extremely well, and I had my eye on the rose gold version. That color has gone in and out of stock, so I jumped on it when I saw my size was back in stock. I will say that I typically wear a size 9 in shoes, but I ordered a 10 based off the recommendation of these slides that I ordered last year in white and then in pink this summer. The 10 definitely fits me perfectly.

Sandals

Here I am last week in Charleston in the baby doll dress and sandals:

I always buy a few tanks in the summer, and I prefer the crew neck style. I ordered this one in blue and gray and they are perfect for wearing to the ballpark or even tucked into nicer shorts for a cuter summer look.

Crew Neck Tank

I often wear ball caps to the pool. I love a ball cap, but sometimes, on a hot day, I want the sun off my face, but I want my head to be able to breathe. (Does that make sense?) This visor hat has been perfect. A feature of the hat that I love is that it rolls up and has an elastic band to secure it together. That way, I just leave it in our pool bag when I’m not using it!

Sun Visor Hat

I’ve already shared a few favorite cover ups this summer, and then added this one into the rotation. It comes in a variety of colors, is lightweight, and I love that it is a little higher cut in the front than in the back.

Tunic Cover Up

Here I am at the beach in the visor and the cover up.

Last but not least, I purchased another two pack of goggles for the kids. No matter how many times I’ve told them, “if they aren’t on your face, they should be in the swim bag,” we still end up losing them. By “we,” I mean Hayden. These are great quality and Hadley even uses them for swim team.

Swim Goggles

I’m going to slow my Amazon roll for the month of July. I ordered Trav’s birthday present and a couple of things for Hadley for camp, but I’m going to try to treat July like a do January and give my debit card a minute to catch a break! Soon enough, I’m sure I will be ordering a few back to school items! Sigh…I don’t even want to think about that!

What have your Primed lately?

I hope your week is off to a great start!

Amazon Prime Days

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a great one filled with baseball, but we were able to take some time to celebrate Travis for Father’s Day with dinner out and milkshakes on Saturday.

I will share more about that later this week. Today, is the start of Amazon Prime Day….but it’s actually two days. Today, June 21st and tomorrow, June 22nd.

Amazon Prime Day is 48 hours of deals for Prime members. The discounts are for everything from tech to fashion to personal care and more.

There are often lightning deals (short-lived discounts) and/or coupons that can be applied to products.

Here are some of my favorite purchases and saved items over the past year!

Electronics:

  • Paperwhite Kindle: I love my Kindle. Yes, I’m one who loves to hold a book in my hands, but a Kindle is so convenient. I purchased my Kindle two years ago as my end of the school year gift to myself (Yes, I do that! haha), and it’s always in my purse and now my swim bag. I typically have one hardback book and one book on my Kindle that I read.
  • Mini Massage Gun: I hope Travis isn’t reading this post because this is on the short list for a birthday gift for him next month. Even better is there has been a $20 off coupon to use when ordering.
  • 2-Pack Dual USB Portable Chargers: An ice storm will make you buy things like portable chargers. Now, they come in handy for long weekends at the ballpark or to have just in case on a road trip.
  • Projector Screen: I saved this screen (and the projector) after several influencers shared them last summer and even recently. The price has even dropped even since I added them to my Amazon list. Also, there’s a 20% off coupon that can be applied as well.
  • Mini Projector: Like the screen, the price has dropped since I added it to my list a while ago, and there’s a 20 % off coupon as well. I just think the projector and screen would be perfect for movie nights outside. Like the massage gun, the projector and screens are ideas for Travis in the future.

Clothes and Shoes:

  • 7/8 leggings: I have two pairs of the 7/8 leggings. I love them because they are buttery soft, comfy, cute, I love the angled hem, and they have pockets!
  • Women’s Comfort Slides: I love these slides! I bought them in white last summer and pink this summer. They are perfect for the pool, and I wear them all the time.
  • Polka Dot Button Down Ruffle Dress: I love this dress so much, have worn it so many times since buying it in April. It’s so comfy, and I always get so many compliments every time I wear it.
  • One Piece Swimsuit: This is my suit for the summer. It’s supportive and comes in many patterns. I have two, and have said that I’ve never felt more comfortable in a suit!
  • Boho Midi Dress: This dress has exceeded my expectations. It’s great quality, fashionable, and perfect for dressing up or dressing down.

Kids, Tweens, and Teens:

When I pulled a few ideas that we’ve gifted for the kids, I realized some of these items aren’t just for kids/tweens, teens…adults may like them too!

  • Automatic Golf Putter: Hayden loves golf, and this automatic putter is perfect for playing indoors.
  • Garmin Watch: Both of my kids are runners and have these watches. They wear them daily and not just for running.
  • Light Up Makeup Mirror: Hadley loves this light up mirror…especially because she shares the world’s smallest bathroom with her brother. She uses this mirror in her room to get ready for the day.
  • Waterproof Facial Cleansing Spin Brush: This brush is perfect for helping Hadley get in the habit of washing her face, and I use it sometimes too!
  • Training Baseballs: These training balls have been perfect for Hayden to use to practice baseball in the yard. (and ensure he doesn’t break another neighbor’s window…True story! (but with a golf ball!)

Other Faves:

  • Sipworks Tumbler: I gave this tumbler to Trav last year for his birthday. He used it so much (me too) that when I went back to school in March, I purchased one for myself!
  • Hardside Spinner Luggage: My mom needed an idea for the kids for Christmas, and I suggested this luggage for the kids. They’d used the same small soft-sided suitcase for ten years, so they were overdue for some luggage. I loved that these were hard-sided and easy to maneuver. Hayden has the 20 inch carry on in navy, and Hadley has the rose gold color. There are a variety of colors and sizes.
  • Waffle Fleece Blanket: I have two of these blankets in this slate color. They are perfect for getting cozy, and I’ve taken them to the ball park on chilly baseball nights.
  • Fuzzy Memory Slip on Slippers: I love these slippers so much. I even pack them on vacation or when we visit family. They are so soft and comfy. There’s a 15% off coupon too!
  • Stainless Steel Coffee Mug: I drink out of this mug most mornings. It does the best job at keeping my coffee hot for as long as possible. The mug comes in so many colors and packaging options (1, 2 pack, 4 pack).

Like the tumbler, I’ve given the slippers and mug for gifts for family and friends.

So many awesome deals can be found on these two days. Happy Shopping!
