Hello and happy Thursday!

This week, just like this month is chugging right along!

We’re only two days out until Halloween which means the end of the month is near. I’m linking up with Patty for Monthly Musings.

This month’s topic is…Halloween and fall fun!

1. Do you celebrate Halloween?

Yes! Of course, it looks a little differently now that the kids are older…they tend to have plans while Trav and I stay home and pass out candy. It’s nice that it’s on a weekend this year…I always appreciated that when my kids were little.

2. Do you decorate for Halloween inside, outside or both?

I used to put out a few indoor Halloween decorations, but now it’s just fall inside, and then outside, I will change the garden flag, and add a few skeletons right before Halloween. When the kids were little, they wished our porch was more spooky whereas I go for cute. haha!

3. Do you dress up for Halloween?

I have never been a big fan of having to think of a Halloween costume. I know, I’m no fun! That being said, I’m more about being a cute seasonal sweatshirt girl!

4. Do you make or buy your costume?

We always buy costumes…it’s just easier. When the kids were little, I’d give them a deadline where they couldn’t change their costume idea anymore. ha! Typically, Amazon saves the day, but we’ve also been to Halloween stores for costumes as well.

5. Full size or fun size?

I always buy fun size candy, but I also buy lots of variety. I give out at least two to three pieces per trick-or-treater…if not more.

Just this week, I was listening to the radio, and they were talking about a story where some HOAs say no full size candy bars? Kind of odd!

6. What is your favorite and least favorite Halloween treat?

I love a mini Twix or Kit Kat. My least favorite is for sure Almond Joy.

7. Scary movies…yes or heck no?

I’m not necessarily a “heck no” to scary movies, but they aren’t my preference. Clay Face and Other Mommy that are out right now look scary…no thanks! Also, if I’m watching a scary movie, I’d prefer to do that at home.

8. Favorite Halloween costume of all time?

The kids have had so many cute costumes through they years, but my fave was when they were Batman and Robin…even sweeter is that Hadley said she wanted to be Robin once Hayden decided on being Batman.

9. Favorite Halloween movies or specials?

Oh…I love It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and we used to watch it when the kids were little. Of course, I will still watch it now if I catch that it’s on.

10. Does trick-or-treating happen on Halloween where you live?

Yes, we’ve always had trick-or-treating on Halloween. There was a time or two when it was moved due to heavy rains, but overall, trick-or-treating happens on the 31st.
