Throwback Thursday: October 2010

Hello and happy Thursday!

I’ve been enjoying this little monthly Throwback series…

January, February, March, April, May , June, July, August and September…

Today I’m sharing a look back to October 2010…I’ve loved Octobers for a long time, but I think I really started loving them in 2010 because we started some of my favorite family traditions that mostly continue today!

We made a trip to the pumpkin patch. While Travis and I had been in other years, it wasn’t an annual thing like it is now.

At this point, the kids were almost one year old, so they had lots of fun.

I still put this framed photo out every fall…

Peep Hayden’s “I love my mummy” shirt…

…and Hadley with her cute jack-o-lantern shirt (and bow!)

Photo opp #2!

That October, Trav’s brother took our first family photos. Not this exact pic, but I have one from that photo session hanging up, and I love it so much.

One warm day, I took the kids out on the back porch and took their photo in their birthday t-shirts to use for the invites for their first birthday party.

Look at those smiles!

Who needs toys when you can play with a Cheerios box?!

Halloween prep with glow in the dark skeleton PJs!

Halloween time! I did the best I could getting pics of them with their personalized trick-or-treat baskets. It was nice of them to share their candy with us 😉

Wagons…the main form of transportation as almost one year olds…

Trick-or-treating with friends…we carried on that tradition for over ten years! Oh the memories…

Of course we had to get a pic with our skeleton and jack-o-lantern!

Yep, this confirms it. October 2010 must have been when I truly started loving Octobers.
