Hello and happy Friday!
While I’m always happy to see Friday, this is a great Friday because in a few short hours it will be spring break time!

Here are my favorites from the week:
It’s a pretty short list, but my first favorite is that we finished up Hadley’s room.
The IKEA cabinet we’d been waiting on was finally back in stock. Of course, it was back in stock the week after we were in Cincinnati and visited IKEA. Oh well.
Travis put it together last weekend…
…and while my mom was here visiting, she used some of the leftover wallpaper to add a little character to the cabinet.
Once we were putting some of Hadley’s odds and ends in the cabinet, we decided to leave out the bottom shelf, so my Gma’s jewelry box/mirror would fit.
I’ve updated the “Bedroom Refresh” post to include the cabinet photos and info.

I’d forgotten we bought these knobs to add a touch of color. We did have to buy different screw to make them work for this cabinet, but they were a cute finishing touch.
I’m so pleased with how Hadley’s room turned out. The update is a blessing and a curse because now she loves her room (and her bed!) more than ever!
Between volleyball games last weekend, we had pizza for lunch two days in a row. Smashing Tomato has brick oven pizza which is my favorite. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like I need to run errands between her games or run home and take care of chores, but sometimes it’s also nice to just hang out for an hour
Hadley’s team played so well last weekend. They lost a couple of sets, but they were always so close. They ended up playing two games on Sunday and winning the silver bracket of the tournament. They were excited to earn some hardware for their hard work!
I got a pedicure this week, and I chose a new (to me) color: OPI: Arigato from Tokyo. I really like it!
This TikTok popped up in my Instagram feed. Y’all – is this true? I really didn’t know this either…and we toast a lot of things.
I started a new book this week. Kristin Hannah’s The Women, and it’s living up to the hype. It’s so good.
Hadley was looking for something to wear for Easter as well as a couple of other occasions, and we stumbled upon this romper. It’s too cute. She plans on wearing it for Easter with a cardigan. The romper is currently 25% off right now!

First, I couldn’t find the spoons, and now we seem to be running low on butter knives. Where do they all go?!?

I love her room and adding that wallpaper to the cabinet is soooo pretty! I love her Easter outfit, too. I think I am getting a solid kelly green dress from ON that you may have seen floating around? I have had zero time so trying to go tomorrow!
That is my favorite kind of pizza! Sometimes I agree that just staying and hanging out can fill your cup more than accomplishing or trying to accomplish things.
Yes to we have lost silverware, too! And, I also thought it was levels of toastyness. Now I am going to time it with my phone because I am a proud nerd.

The “beach cruiser” dress is what I have. I haven’t worn it yet. I did order in two sizes and ended up keeping medium instead of my usual large

Oh I love that cabinet in Hadley’s room- her room is just so perfect- love everything you did. Have you had good luck with Ikea? I should check them out if you think the quality is good

I forgot that we bought cute knobs to replace the ones that come on the cabinet…so I need to switch those out this weekend. We have had good luck with IKEA. The first piece we bought was a white dresser 12(ish) years ago and Hayden still uses it.

I LOVE brick oven pizza! It’s so rare to find a place that makes them though. That Easter/spring romper is so cute and will look great on Hadley. I haven’t given any thought to what I’ll be wearing for Easter at all this year… I kind of want to wear a dress or a skirt but I don’t think I really own any that I won’t freeze in.

We have Smashing Tomato – that’s one of two brick oven places we usually go. The pizzas are always so good

I love the way that cabinet turned out with the wallpaper. I had heard about the dial on the toaster but we dont have a toaster, we use our air fryer.
