Hello and happy Monday! How was your weekend? I certainly appreciated the sunshine and warm temps that we had. It was so nice to be outside, go for a walk, and drive with the sunroof open.

I know I typically share my memes on the last Monday of the month, but next Monday I hope to share the books that I read in March.

Let’s just say that I’m not ready to carry on full conversations until I’ve had a couple cups of coffee.

How was your weekend? Overall, mine was pretty low-key. Trav and Hadley were out of town for her volleyball tournament, and Hayden and I were at home. I was able to get a lot of things done at home, a few things for school, and I watched as much of the Olympics as possible. How about the exciting gold medal hockey game yesterday morning? I was up just in time to watch!

Anyway, it’s already the last Monday of the month, so I’m sharing a few favorite memes.

We’re waking up to snow covered roads as well as some ice. We were supposed to get more snow out of this system, but we ended up with more ice.

It’s hard to believe but this time next week it will be February! Since it’s the last Monday of the month, I’m sharing some of my favorite memes.

What is it about January 1st vs. January 2nd? I always have good intentions. That being said, it’s easier for me to regroup whenever I head back to school.

Well, today is a really great Monday because I didn’t have to set an alarm…and all my Christmas shopping is finished…and I might have only a couple things left to wrap. Coming down to the wire…no matter how much I plan.

I know we still have one more Monday in the month, but I’m sharing some of my favorite December/holiday related memes today.

It does seem like sometimes things get marked up to be marked down…

This one is so relatable. No matter how organized I am with all my supplies, I’m always scrambling to find tape.

Also, why am I like this?! I do save wrapping paper scraps in hopes that I can use them on someone’s present! (I do throw away the scraps during my final clean up of the season.)

Thankfully, I mostly kept to my list and got everything I needed.

How was your weekend? Ours was pretty good overall…and just what we needed. We didn’t have a ton going on, and I was able to get caught up on some school things, run errands, go to church, do laundry and more. I even put my fall decor out yesterday. Now, I’m ready for the temps to cooperate!

I typically share memes the last Monday of the month, but I think next week I’ll be sharing the books I read in September.

Hello and happy Monday! How was your weekend? Overall, ours was good. We didn’t have too much on tap, and we had time for hanging out at home, running errands, going to church, time at the pool, and hanging with family.

It’s hard to believe that this time next week is Labor Day! Since it’s the last Monday of the month, I’m sharing a few funny memes with you.

Let’s start with this one…as yesterday, I planned dinners, placed a grocery order, picked up around the house and even made a couple of lunches for the week. It’s all downhill from here!

I’ve definitely been “paying the piper” this month. That being said, I never spend time at school in the summer, but the last couple of weeks of July, I went for a little bit of time for quite a few days, and it really did pay dividends…and I was only up there because I moved rooms. I’m hoping I won’t have to do the same thing next year.

How was your weekend? While I tried to force myself to slow down knowing this is our last “free” weekend for a while, I still felt like I was living for my “to do” list. We did go to the pool Friday evening and hung out with friends. I didn’t have to set an alarm either morning, so that was nice too! I had a few errands like returns and Target, and we had our hallway and Hayden’s room painted recently, so we spent time hanging things back up.

Anyway, this is my last full week of summer, and every single day I have something around mid-morning whether it’s an appointment or a workout class! That’s ok…it means I can still have some time in the morning, but then I can get started with my day.

Since this is the last Monday of the month, I’m sharing some memes that made me laugh recently.

While I don’t have trouble sleeping through the night, I do wish that I could fall back to sleep once I wake up…and often times, that’s not the case.

We typically do laundry on the weekends, but in the summer, I feel like the days run together and all of the sudden the kids tell me they need their clothes washed. That being said, the other day, Hayden sent me a text asking what setting he needed to wash his clothes, and he did that all on his own!

Why did I laugh so hard at this one…and also why am I now actually wondering this? LOL

Back to school emails have started and professional development and work days are just around the corner. *sigh*

We have a counter that’s a drop zone, and we tend to tidy it up every couple of days. That being said, the tray on my island has now become cluttered with odds and ends…including two Christmas ornaments…haha…and I’ve just about had it.

How was your weekend? Ours was…long. I’m not sure I recommend having both kids’ wisdom teeth out at the same time again. haha

Hayden has bounced back quickly, and Hadley is taking a longer time to recover. She ended up dehydrated, so she’s had that to deal with along with the fact that her teeth were impacted, so she’s more swollen and uncomfortable. She’s still eating soft foods while Hayden’s back to eating pizza. Anyway, I’m a bit late getting this post out, but here we go…

Usually, I share my Monday Memes post on the last Monday of the month. Well, next Monday is the last Monday of the month, but it’s also the last day of the month, so I’ll share my Monthly Moments post then.

Speaking of time flying…June needs to slow down!

This was me yesterday…I needed to get out of the house…and I told Hadley the same. She sat on the front porch for a bit last night to get out of her bed and get some fresh air.

Thankfully, we’ve been busy, so my kids haven’t been bored…but I remember feeling like I had to keep them so busy in the summer when they were little. I’m sure some can relate to this one.

I’m still in summer mode, but this made me LOL.

Yes! I feel so accomplished when I put away the shirts and sweatshirts that I toss on the one chair in our bedroom. It’s a dumping ground throughout the week, and then it’s such a nice feeling to have it tidy and picked up.
