Hello and happy Monday!
How was your weekend? Ours was pretty relaxing thanks to the rain and cool temps. That being said, Saturday was full of excitement with Mizzou football winning, and then Kentucky beat LSU in overtime. Hayden was out there with the thousands who stormed the field afterwards. haha
Time got away from me last week, so I didn’t get a Friday Favorites post written, but I did post a 10 on the 10th post written on Saturday.
It’s already the second Monday of the month, so I’m co-hosting the Share Our Lives link up with some of my favorite bloggers.

So far this year we’ve discussed…
- Ways to stay warm in winter in January
- Binge worthy shows in February
- Grocery list frequent buys in March
- Favorite cleaning products in April
- Go to lunches on the go in May
- Emojis used most often in June
- Favorite room in your house in July
- Favorite current music in August
- I wish I’d known in September
This month’s topic is hostess gift ideas.
This is such a fun topic because I love giving gifts. Through the years, I’ve given…
- Flowers
- Bottle of wine
- Candles (maybe with a box of cute matches?)
- Personalized items like a monogrammed dish towel
- Icon glasses, coffee mug
- Seasonal items like Trader Joe’s faves – box of pumpkin bread mix, seasonal candle, etc
Landyn just shared this idea this weekend…

I lovely gift basket is always a good idea. We have some cute boutiques in town, and I love to shop local when possible to find things that make sense together.
Teen girls love to put a gift basket together for birthdays! haha
This idea from Alli Sadri is so cute…an icon glass candle wrapped festively!

I can’t wait to read what others have to share.
Next month, our topic is how we express gratitude.

Have a great Monday!

I often gift gift baskets as well. I just love them.

You have some great ideas! I feel like we overthink it but it can be something really simple that we ourselves would like – the baking mixes and a tea towel would be great!

I love a breakfast gift basket as a hostess gift. I try to bring something ‘local’ if we’re spending a weekend in someone’s home. On another note Tennessee fans were rooting for KY and happy they won. We’ll be back to rooting for the Vols though when they play KY. Have a great week!

Yes- sometimes if we have guests coming, I put a little basket together to leave on the bed…water, snacks, local things, etc
