Hello and happy Tuesday!
I don’t know about where you are, but we’re having cooler temps which has been so lovely. Yesterday, the high was in the mid-70’s. I went to the pool, and I didn’t even break a sweat!
Last week, I took some time to go to Trader Joe’s. I go there about once every three weeks, and one thing I love about going to Trader Joe’s is that like Target, I let Trader Joe’s tell me what I need. haha
I typically have some “tried and true” staples whenever I go, but I like to pick up seasonal things and try new items too.

Here’s my haul…
I always buy at least two boxes of the Jasmine rice…it’s so easy to pop in the microwave for three minutes.
The traditional meatloaf is another fave. I never make meatloaf, so this certainly checks that box. One meatloaf isn’t enough for the four of us, but the kids don’t necessarily care to eat it. That’s not a reflection of the meatloaf, that’s a reflection of the kids’ poor taste buds! So, I tend to make this and eat it for lunch over a few days, or make it for Travis and I when needed.
The orange chicken bowl was a new find; I haven’t tried it yet, but I thought it would be a good lunch idea.

I will buy fruit whenever I go to Trader Joe’s. When I do my Kroger pick up or delivery, I rarely have Kroger pick out my fruit besides bananas. I tend to go into Kroger for those things at some point.
Well, when I’m going to Trader Joe’s, I go ahead and pick up fruit. I much prefer the watermelons at TJ vs Kroger. They are smaller and always good!
Hadley loves cantaloupe and pineapple, so I got those for her. Bananas are a staple for my breakfast most mornings.

This chip/dip combo is a fave.

I love the cheddar chicken sausage. I just had one for dinner last night.
I got some Amylu chicken meatballs at Kroger and loved them. So, when I saw these meatballs, I figured I’d give them a try too.

Prosciutto and Colby Jack are good snack items. Actually, there was a little sign by the cantaloupes that suggested wrapping prosciutto around a cantaloupe slice for a snack…and I’ve made that version of an appetizer with some basil. So good!

Whenever I go to Trader Joe’s, I pick up a couple of Perfect Bars and Barebelle bars. Usually when I eat these, I only eat half.

Hadley requested the mint cremes, and I love these little ice cream cones!

It’s summer, so of course I had to pick up my favorite body butter. This is actually my second tub of the summer. I’m still using my first one, but I wanted to make sure and have one more when that one runs out. I remember the first summer this scent came out at TJ a couple of years ago, it was gone quickly and never restocked. I think they plan better now!

It’s peony season, y’all! I love looking at these flowers as they bloom!

And, of course I couldn’t resist a candle. This limoncello candle is legit! The jar is so summery, and the scent is amazing. When I have it burning, and you can smell it from room to room.

So, that’s my little Trader Joe’s haul. There are so many other things I was tempted to buy, but I tried to stay true to more of what I needed and our faves.
