Hello and happy Monday!
How was your weekend? Ours was really good…and the best part was that it was a slow weekend. I put up Christmas decorations, did a little Christmas shopping, met friends for dinner and even had time for an afternoon nap.

This usually just happens when my kids are trying to help me at the self-check out…no matter how many times I tell them the item has to go in the bag after it’s scanned before scanning the next item.

We got a new microwave a few years ago, and it doesn’t give you ten seconds before it beeps to alert you to open the door. It’s so annoying! I wish we’d tested that out before purchasing!

Yes! I feel like my microwave is such a nag now; it beeps ALL the time and drives me nuts. Our fridge even has an alarm now if you leave the door open too long (like when I’m putting away groceries) it starts beeping too.

Great memes! I can relate to the self checkout one. I would get kind of impatient. Now that they rarely do the normal life things with me I wish I hadn’t gotten impatient.
There was nothing better than coming home to an empty house and turning on Saved by the Bell with a Little Debbie. Ahhhhh….

Well, I ate one because the alumni assoc. gave us a turkey made of one and I couldn’t believe how artificial it tasted. It was good but different than I remembered.
