Hello and happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Ours was great but busy.

Friday after school, we headed to Bardstown, KY for Hayden’s race and then went straight to Louisville for the night because Hadley had an early call time for her volleyball tournament. Thankfully, she was finished pretty early, so we headed home, but spent most of our day in Louisville yesterday. Hayden had a great race on Friday, and Hadley’s team made it to the gold bracket, and played well.

This is one of those Mondays where I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!

Next Monday is technically the last Monday of the month which is when I share memes, but that’s also the last day of the month when I share my “Monthly Moments” post. So, what’s a girl today? You’re getting some fave memes a few days early.

Y’all, while I appreciate the extra hour of daylight, I’ve been on the struggle bus with the time change. This meme made me laugh out loud.

My lunch group and I were talking about school gossip, and we’d all seen some version of this meme. We want to be “loop adjacent.” haha

Another school friend was talking about being at the mercy of whatever day the dentist has available when she rescheduled. What is it about the dentist and being so booked? When I took the kids in for their cleaning in January, the earliest they could get us in for their next 2025 cleaning is October!

I didn’t have this problem growing up…Jennifer is pretty common. That being said, I haven’t seen Hadley’s name on many products that aren’t special ordered.

I sent this to Hadley…she’s a Dr. Pepper girl!

I always appreciate the three people who “get me.”

I swear, I feel like I get an Apple payment email every day. Between Apple music, our family account, extra storage and more, Apple takes all my money!

  1. Oh yes, I never found my name on anything! If they happened to have a Joanne it was most definitely spelled wrong but usually just didn’t exist at all. I like to be Loop-adjacent too.

  2. I keep getting told by Apple that my payment isn’t working for my 99cent extra storage. So weird!

    You were so busy! The weather sucked yesterday.

    School stuff gets so crazy I can’t “listen and not judge”. We just got an email that the building is “frozen” for four days. Our principal has been pulling the frozen card. So, no one can use the restroom. Guess who that falls back on? Guess what happens to restrooms during passing periods? Guess how many tardies there will be?

    THIS IS THE MOST HYDRATED GENERATION TO EVER WALK THE HALLS!

    1. Hydration generation 🤣🤣
      We have done restrooms differently this year. Only open DURING class and not during passing. Like everything, we are now used to it but I don’t love it and I do but sometimes I feel like I can’t tell a student no they can’t go since class time is when they are supposed to go. I will be interested to see if we keep it this way next year.

      2. I get it! We’ll have people retire this year who are close or past due for retirement because next year we move to block scheduling. No one is opposed to it but of course it will be a big learning curve so why learn it if you don’t have to. 🤣

  5. What a fab weekend! It sounds busy from the sports and travelling. Well done to the kids.
    The memes are fab! The one about the loop did make me chuckle and I had a name which was never on anything. Hmmf.
