Hello and Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
We had a pretty good one which started off with Travis and I going out to dinner. Our original “Valentine’s Day” dinner had to be rescheduled due to the weather, and while our roads were still snow covered, the main roads were good enough for us to get out and enjoy dinner. Then, Saturday and Sunday were filled with basketball games, errands, church activities, and other things on my “to do” list.
I can’t let the month of February pass by without sharing some of my favorite memes. So, here you go…
1.
Haha! I swear every year that I ask the kids a 100 times how many kids are in their classes. We always end up with an extra box of Valentines because of course they have 25 kids in each of their classes!

2.
I feel this deeply, y’all!

Funny!

4.
This is definitely me!

5.
Travis, are you listening?!

6.
I’m working on this, ok? ๐

7.
I’ve never felt more seen…

8.
This is definitely me! I tried to watch a movie with Hadley on Saturday night, and didnt’t make it past 30 minutes of the movie.

This one definitely made me chuckle!

My weakness ๐

So there are a few laughs to start off your week! I’m hoping for a pretty normal week around here, and the weather finally seems to have its act together! I think we are in the 40’s and 50’s all week, so hopefully our snow and ice will continue to melt.
I’m in the great debate (with myself) on when to get my car washed. I want to do so today, but I guess I should wait a couple days until all the snow is melted and the streets dry up!
And…I don’t want to jinx anything, but there’s a very good chance that Hayden and Hadley will be back in the school building (for the first time in 350+ days) next week! So, we’ll cherish this (hopefully) final week of virtual school, and then prep for a RETURN TO IN PERSON LEARNING! (excuse the CAPS…I’m not shouting…just really, really, really hopeful to get my kids back in the building!)
I hope you have a great week!

I hope they get in the building too! Canโt wait for this to melt! Iโm glad you got out. Tom and I still need to do this. He is tired during the week and on weekends boys coming home is our first priority and they want to be at home. I can most relate to the falling asleep meme. I can fall asleep during any show from after lunch on I think!

Oh yes! I could probably take a daily afternoon nap if I had the time …and still go to bed at 9! ๐ I love that your boys have been coming home! โค๏ธ

I guess it surprises me how tired I am with doing virtual! Itโs a different tired. Me too – itโs really been good for us. Did I tell you one wouldnโt even be with us last semester without a mask on? It was rough. It made me wonder if society had taken it too far.

I remember they were both taking it very seriously because of school. Iโm glad you all have found a new โnormalโ during this time. Hopefully life will be for real normal soon

Those are all too funny and spot on! I hope your kids get to go back to school this week. Iโm having the car wash debate with myself too. I think I am going for it tomorrow. Have a great week!

Iโm dying to get it washed but snow is still melting! If not tomorrow, Iโm for sure getting it washed Wednesday. ๐
